But say, who are the ones supposed to be powerful enough to threaten me and my mansion? Because I have no idea what a "nine-ball" is supposed to be. And the only one I know having ice powers would be Mai, and she is hardly a threat to me.

Cirno... I don't think I've ever met a Cirno. You see, I've never left Mugenkan ever since I've beaten up Shinki. All this time, only people have come to visit me - despite Elly having had the order to chase them away - and those people have mostly been ones I've already known from before.
And what's with this "ancient spell-card"? Spell Cards have only been invented after we have beaten up the devil of Makai. So that Reimu wouldn't have so many problems fighting us powerful youkai anymore. So, if you ask me, that scroll must be a fake. Though I just remembered, I still haven't created a single Spell Card...

Nero knocked a couple of times on an Ivory door, and he says "You never made this one...I did." and he picked up the card, and says "Celestial Sign - Archangel Spark..." and he says "I developed this when I was still a 'pure' celestial..." and he says "This card is the polar opposite of my "Demon Sign- Daemon Spark...and Both are capable of negating the master spark or Twilight Spark..."

*Out of spite Yuuka walks in the way of the Daemon Spark, opens her umbrella and blocks it, breaking the bundle of light apart into smaller rays shooting past Yuuka around her umbrella*
