I know for Alena it has more to do with how she's craning her neck and arching her back. But, other than that, this whole piece embodied multiple excercises, one being individual body types. Each girl has to deal with her own problems, just like the real life.

If you prefer skinny, that's fine. I'm still developing my own style/how I depict people, so my interpretations might be a bit off anyways.
