im sorry friend  i really just post a lot of art there because i spend a lot of time on there, but i have been meaning to check on this more often. maybe even work on a comic or two just for fun and to work on stuff. i really only post stuff that i sorta-like, mt tumblr art blog is just full of silly doodles but yeah i have to agree on DA bugging me a little

No, I totally get you, I wish I understood tumblr better. I don’t really get that site because it seems like you can look at a lot of stuff but you can’t comment on anything unless people are in your friends list, and the only way you can be added to someone’s friends list is if you have something interesting to offer like art, which will make people want to follow you. So people like myself who are just fans but can’t draw can’t really make friends there.

ah yeah that sucks because thats really how it is on the site, but i think artist there are more likely to accept your comments (even f you arent in their friend group) if they're generally nice and the artist is relatively new to the site too. but you seem like a super nice person, so i dont think you'll be told off for writing anything on a picture. i honestly have very little experience on the internet with art, but i do know if your nice to artists on tumblr, even with criticism, they'll be nice to you and let you comment on stuff or request art. idk it seems like everyone on that site is super delicate and cant handle any negative comments, thats the one thing that bugs me about tumblr :T
