I see you are enw here, so I'll let you in on a secret. To get comments, leave them. I tend to spend some time on the main page pushing refresh until some nice stuff shows up and I leave comments. Sometimes the artist will leave you a comment, and maybe watch you if they like your stuff.
It'll help get you good comments too if you leave the kind you want.
