Thank you glad you like it.
It was all done in Photoshop, the background is an old book .I added the dragonfly and then I used some gear brushes from Obsidian Dawn [link] to the body to make it look mechanical. added a filter and it was done.

ahhhh. i thought the whole thing was from the old book. very inventive. i am a hands on peep. just learning photoshop. I am not that technical yet. i could do that by hand then scan it lol.... i admire ur abilities.

Thank you.....yes you could do it as a mixed media collage, I think it would look great with lots of texture.

Thank you very much.
Up until about six months ago all I did was mixed media which I still love to do. Then I decided to learn Photoshop and non of the books made any sense to me at all.
I just kept on pushing all the buttons until I got images I was happy with {there are no mistakes in digital }
I still can't understand the books as I now have my own way of doing stuff.

i gotcha there. my nephew just got me a new program. similar to photo shop (an open thingy) and i've been monkeying with it, with him on chat saying well do u like it ?does it work for what u want ? how is it?......lol all the while I HAVE NO IDEA YET. i'm too busy trying to answer him.oh well. enough ranting to u.
