Hello! So you are the incredible artist who's work I have seen all over the world and envied. It's an honor.
Your work is the style and level that I always wanted to reach but lacked the talent to reach. Your illustrations are everything I wanted to achieve.
I salute you on your wonderful, wonderful work and accomplishments. The original film changed my life when I was 13. Your work takes me back to that perfect summer of 77'.

Wow, wow, sorry I missed your comment! First off, thank you very much- you're too kind. I haven't been on D Art for a couple years. Keep pushing yourself and you can get there. Thanks again! Β

I had a chance to meet you several years ago at Celebration III in Indianapolis, IN before the premiere of Ep. III. I have one of the numbered Anakin liths you did for that event.Β Just wanted to drop you a line and say I've always adored your work. Β That lith is just awesome and one of my favorite items in my collection.

Thank you very much!
I'm not that new, it's just that I never come here. Hopefully that'll change in 2010.

I am a professional artist living in Portland, Oregon.
I've been in the art business for over twenty years, and I've been an official Star Wars artist for the past thirteen. I have created artwork for the Lucasfilm Licensing style guides for Episodes I, II, III and recently some for the classic trilogy. Style guide artwork goes to licensees of Lucasfilm for use on merchandise world wide. If you have any product shots for Revenge of the Sith merchandise from outside the U.S. you feel like sharing- I'd love to see them.
I've also been the cover artist on a lot of Star Wars book covers and guides for Random House Publishing and have done numerous Star Wars and other licenses like Lord of the Rings, Disney, Marvel and Universal on puzzles, game packaging, game boards, action figure packaging and trading cards. Some of these items can be seen in below and to the left, with more in the Pics section, and more at my official website: SteveAndersonDesign.com
I recently designed the logo for the new comic publisher Red 5 Comics. They will be offering cinematic-style comic book entertainment. Red 5 Comics is the creation of Paul Ens, former director of Lucasfilmβs StarWars.com and Lucas Online, and Scott Chitwood, co-founder of TheForce.net and contributor to ComingSoon.net and SuperheroHype.com.
I'll be going to Celebration IV in Los Angeles as well as Celebration Europe in London.
