This is her father and would appreciate a little help in explaining what was stolen? All that is needed is a little help explaining what the problem is and that is it. The threats of reporting of art theft to someone is a little too far, especially when dealing with a kid. I don't think any harm was intended.

I'd like for you to stop stealing artwork. The "Tac Nayn" picture is stolen just colored over, and I'm pretty sure we ALL know where you got the Ashfur picture. You cannot just steal artwork and then trace over it. Take them down, or they get reported. It's as simple as that. You never had full permission to edit them in the first place. You edited two different pictures, and the one made by Pallas was probably only given credit to because Pallas knew about it. You shouldn't be editing someone else's work when they worked so hard on it.

Editing a picture that someone else already made, even it's by an unknown person on Google, is still against DA rules. Notice that the drawing on The-Pallas-Cat's profile was posted a year ago.
I'm not looking for a fight, I just want to let you know that even if you got the photo off of Google, taking someone else's work and editing it is against Deviantart rules. Thanks.

Do note that nowhere in the piece you uploaded did you give the original artist credit. He asked you himself to take it down, which you did not. In fact, SEVERAL people asked you to take it down, which again you did not. That's called copyright infringement, and it is clearly stated in DA rules:

Note that it says one of the forms of copyright infringement is:
"Modifying or editing a creative work without proper permission"
...which you did. Proper permission means the author himself, or herself, GIVES you the power to edit his or her work. Now, did The-Pallas-Cat give you permission? No, he did not.
You say you got this off of Google, but apparently you don't know from whom? Well. This is also covered in the DA rules:
"...Placing a photograph or creative work online without proper permission."
We're not "art wannabes" or "haters". We're just people who know, and STRONGLY dislike, an art thief when they see one.

HE has to give YOU permission. YOU can't just take a drawing HE made and edit it unless HE gives you full permission. You can't just take it without him knowing and 'give him credit', you have to ask his permission to alter the original drawing. PERSONALLY. Okay?

Regardless of it being your first art or not, my point is, what you did was called art theft. Even if it was unknowing, it was art theft. You had a couple people pointing out to you that it was art theft. And I used art theft 4 times now to get my point across-WHAT YOU DID WAS ART THEFT. So what I'm saying is, either take it down or ask The-Pallas-Cat for permission to alter his art.
Oh, and that was not YOUR first art, it was an edit of SOMEONE ELSE'S art.
