concept art is different, but if you look at all of the if drawings you've ever done...all of them look like you had them sit down and say cheese for the camera :S

Well, so far, the majority of the IF pictures I've drawn have been for the sole purpose of figuring out what the characters look like, and not actually illustrating a scene.
Here's the trick: if it doesn't have a background, if it's concept art, or if it's a poster-like image, then the saying cheese thing is intentional.
