*Rea was wandering outside of the warehouse late at night. All of her pets had fallen asleep, and she had a lot on her mind. She sat on a milk crate and sighed, pulling her knees up to her chest.*

A large red and blue dog was passing across the road. He stopped and smelt her, turning his head to look at her. He was quite a big dog, most definitely larger than BD.

Rea doesn't notice him and buries her face into her knees, sighing heavily and shivering from the cold.

The dog trotted across the road, winding his way through scattered boxes as he sat well away from her. He tilted his head slightly and barked softly.

Rea looked up in alarm, then laid eyes on the dog. She backed away, fearful.

He tilted his head even more, sitting still as he made no move of coming closer. He bowed his head gently, his fur being blown in the cold breeze.

Rea shakily lifted her hand and held it out, silently giving the dog permission to come closer.

The large dog trotted closer to her, sniffing her hand before glancing up at her. His icy blue eyes were full of innocence and wisdom, his blue and red fur being blown in the ice cold breeze.

"H-Hello," Rea squeaked nervously, her hand still trembling.

He gently licked her hand moved so her hand was on the top of his head.

"W-who are you...? Oh, I'm so dumb. Dogs can't talk."

He barks softly and lifts his head up slightly, revealing a collar.

"Optimus...?" She read the tag. "That's a nice name."

He seems to smile at her and he sits on the box next to her, tail wagging slightly.

"Are you some sort of... spirit dog?"

He tilts his head slightly and shakes his head.

"You seemed to know that I was here... Are you hungry or something?"

He shook his head, sniffing her.

She chuckled. "That tickles."

A smile formed on the dogs face and he rested his paw on her shoulder, licking her cheek softly.

She continued giggling.

Due to his collar having a speaker which allowed him to talk (like the one in Up :3), he tilted his head slightly. "Why do you sit outside on a milk crate?"

"AHH!" She fell off of said milk crate in surprise of the powerful voice that came from the collar.

He looked down at her from the box. "I apologise for the sudden shock."

"I-It's fine, just... I didn't expect such a... strong voice?" She sat up.

He nodded gently and tilted his head. "Again I ask, why do you sit out here?"

"I... couldn't sleep," she answered sheepishly.

He nodded sniffing her hand before gently licking it. "But why do you sit in the cold? Why not inside?"

"It's not any better inside." She gestured to the warehouse. "That is my home."

Optimus nodded and hopped off the crate quickly sifting through a cardboard box and taking out a clean, fluffy blanket, wrapping it around her.

"T-Thank you," she said in surprise, pulling the blanket close.

He nodded and sat next to her, paying no attention to the wind. "May I ask for your name?"

"Rea," she answered, draping some of the blanket over him.

He sits against her, his fur surprisingly warm against her cold skin.

Rea gently stroked his back.

His tail wagged gently and he glanced over at her, a small smile on his lips.

"You're a... pretty dog."

He nodded slightly in acknowledgement. "Thank you, Rea. You are a beautiful human." His tail wagged slightly.

Rea flushed, turning bright red. "I am...?"

He nodded, his entire body radiating warmth despite the ice cold temperature.

"Who are you really?"

"I am Optimus Prime. Leader of a group of PetFormers known as Autobots. We protect humans from those known as Decepticons." His icy blue eyes gazed over her.

"...Riiiight..." She looked very nervous now, flushing.
