Your comment gave me the final push, the tiny bit of extra motivation I needed to complete the little project about "emotional chemistry" and NaLu I've been working on. Many people either twist the concept of chemistry or completely disregarded it to downplay solid premises. Hopefully, evidence may help some people to avoid those mistakes

I don't have anything against NaLu, but this ship also had it's faults. I just wanted to point them out. I'm actually neutral towards most pairings, but I hate shipwars.

I mean, GrayLu had basically no chance of being canon when the manga was still ongoing, so what in the holy mother of fuck makes you think that GrayLu can happen now, when Gruvia was confirmed canon in the final chapter?
I mean, it still would've been laughable if you had, say, made a NaLi poster (while NaLu was heavily implied at the end of FT, it was not outright confirmed). But when you try to push for a pairing that directly contradicts a canon pairing, it only makes you a bigger joke than the Detroit Lions.

Well, I reckon that if Mashima actually did release an artwork of Natsu and Lucy having sex, Douglas would probably get an aneurysm from all the delusion and retardation that he would have to subject himself to in order to even attempt to debunk it. I mean, NaLu is already extremely hard to debunk anyway with the current confirmation we got (Natsu telling Lucy that they would be together forever), but if Natsu and Lucy got an on-panel sex scene from the mangaka himself, debunking NaLu would become literally impossible, and any attempt by Douglas to do so would just get swatted down like a fucking cockroach.
