That is so strange, because I randomly remembered you just a few days ago, for, like, a brief second, hahaha.

To be honest I'm not doing as well as I'd hope I do, but hey, I'm still alive and I still have food available, and my siblings and parents show support, so it's not the end of the world, but I sure had hoped I wouldn't end up like this!  Oh, and I have two adorable cats who drive me insane but are adorable nonetheless.

Oh, and I totally went to London in October, to go to London Expo, and it's seriously the best experience in my entire life and I wish I could afford to go again now in May or whenever, but alas, it is not to be, and that makes me sad.

To cut a long story short, uhh, I gained a lot of friends, one became my boyfriend, my brother Frank died in a car crash, my boyfriend turned out to be a total douche and dumped me and my friends took his side and now I have one friend left who is a sweetheart and I also came aaaaaaall the way out of the closet and now I'm a lesbian, hahaha.

So it's been a few ups and downs, as you can see.  How about you?  What goes on on that island country of yours?

ha ha it sounds like we need to discuss our lives over many coffees! why aren't things working out for you? you're a talented lady!i bet you just need to get the confidence in yourself and then youd be able to kick some serious bum!

are you still in norway? i suppose breathing and eating are two really good things in life, id have to put music with them as a life necessity! why arent you in england, you were practically english years ago when i met you! and plus dont forget we are young yet! at least we have time on our side, if you said that and you were 50 then it would be a completely different conversation

i had to reread the part of you having a boyfriend, im assuming its not as easy to be a lesbian in Norway then? I am so sorry to hear about your brother, how long ago was this? i couldnt imagine how difficult that must have been i send a giant hug your way.

if your group of friends chose a side they werent worth knowing in the first place so think of it more like youve just saved yourself a lot of energy, i can be added to your friends list it does seem to get harder and harder to find decent people now, i dont know why but its become a shocking realisation over the past year. i am lucky i have a few very close friends and Beccy who is practically my sister, but its still hard to find any decent people. i bet you would had thought, I had a few girlfriends during university, one lasting 3 years (she is now a close friend of mine), she is french, so obviously i know a lot of swear words now in french but ive got a boyfriend now (which is still quite shocking because i was very convinced i was gay-but maybe ive just turned straight for him) weve been together for just over a year and hes been looking after me very well!

I have been poorly since last april, and have recently been diagnosed with (drumroll please) a brain tumour so i will be going in for surgery in the next couple of weeks, the risks are low and it doesnt look like i need chemotherapy which is AWESOME! it shouldnt be too dangerous. but its really annoying because i started getting overly interested about sweden and was about to start learning the swedish language! so ive decided that im going to go over to sweden once ive recovered as a treat and learn everything about it (which shouldnt be more than 3-4 months).

i have seriously written a lot and dont worry about the whole tumour situation, it was obvious i had one before the diagnosis so ive had plenty of time to come to terms with it all and stuff
so not to bore you i will stop typing!

First things first: LOL IT IS VERY EASY TO BE GAY IN NORWAY.  We have gay marriage and adoption and everything, and it's not even called "gay marriage", just "marriage".  Norway is rather open-minded, mostly, which I sort of realised this New Year's when the new Prime Minister held a speech about how important it is to embrace and include and be considerate to people with mental illnesses like depression and anxiety and such.

I will indeed let you know the next time I'm going to England.  I really want to go for next London Expo, but as it is now I don't think I can afford it, which is a shame.

Frank died June 3rd 2011, so it's two and a half years ago now, and he died at the age of 20.  It was indeed a difficult time, but we've recovered. Thank you. *hugs*

Good for you with your girlfriend/now-friend and boyfriend thing!  They both sound like delightful people.

Bloody hell, a brain tumour??  Just like that?  Wow, that must have been a scary realisation, but that's great that there's a low risk and no chemo needed!  And also Sweden is gorgeous and Swedish is really neat, so I wish you lots of luck with that!  And lots of luck with the operations, too, of course!

I am still on Facebook (or should I say "again"?), but I am under the name of May-Wilma Hovind, so that people I hardly know from, like, third grade don't look me up and try to add me all the time, if you know what i mean.  We do indeed have a lot to catch up on, but sadly for me not much has happened since I left England way back then, apart from my personality improving severely and my immaturity fading away into the occasional gloating malice towards people I don't like.

Lmao, I guess it's easy to blend various countries into one another, but yeah, no, the Nordic countries are totally okay with the gay, unless you're old and racist like my nan, but she doesn't really have a say in the matter, hahaha.  We're not like some other countries, like for example Poland, which still struggles with either gay rights or trans rights, I'm not sure. I have a friend who's dating a trans man, and she's always up with the trans rights, but hey, I read that a trans woman is engaged in Polish politics, so it's a step further, yay!

I am not working; I just got fired, really, and I'm struggling with various things.  Doing very little, hardly even drawing these days (and if I do draw something it usually ends up on my Tumblr).  I got no message on Facebook, sadly!  However, I doubt there's actually someone called May-Wilma Hovind, so it must be something weird going on here.  I'll add the person I think it's you, and we'll see!

Norwegian, Swedish, and Danish is closely related to one another, and most Norwegians can understand Danish and Swedish, albeit not every word and usually not if spoken fast.  The Swedes and Danes like to say they don't understand each other very much, but I think they're just being silly.  Norwegian and Swedish sounds alike, but Norwegian and Danish looks alike in the way it's written.

My boy cat is a black cat, too. With a white spot on his chest, he looks real royal, but acts like a jester, lol. My she-cat is a tabby, and is probably the shyest mummy's girl I've ever met. She's adorable, though.
