I worked on the series from 2003 (series 3) til 2010 (GPK Flashbacks Series 1). I have since worked on other forms of art, but mostly my own projects and personal paintings.

well ive just about got that entire run.. i was so ecstatic when they re released thes cards. it might sound weird but they had a huge impact on me as a child.. the majority of the kids i was around collected baseball cards (and to be perfectly honest i had a stint too) but the garbage pail kids were unlike anything else available to kids. and when they came back out i was taken back to my childhood. i want to thank you for being apart of the team that brought them back your art is fantastic. i feel like im meeting all of my childhood inspirations since ive joined this site. and the other day a sugestion came across my face book for fricken joe jusko.. man i had all his marvel masterpieces. i used too just sit and make up my own teams.. oh hell im gushing.. yall are like my rockstars man..

Hey that is very nice. Thank you very much. I too was heavily inspired by GPKs and instead of ice cream and baseball cards from the ice cream man I got these cards. I figured ice cream would just disappear, but I could hold on to GPK or baseball cards forever. I also contacted those artists involved and later the company and fortunately for me I got a break and I was able to work for them. Dream come true. My next stop is hopefully in my other love which is comic books. It's funny Joe Jusko was another one of those great painters and those Masterpieces were just that. The funny thing was he was pretty rude to me lately, but I'll forgive him. It was just about an opinion about someone else's art he posted I thought it was inappropriate of him to dictate what I should comment on, but anyways artists are people and people have different ideas of things. In case you are interested in finding out what I mean.
