I had heard that they were thinking about making a second, but I didn't know much more than that. The design of the game is really awesome. I especially like the fact that the card soldiers look undead and have holes physically cut from their midsections to denote their card suits. Alice got even darker than before, but it does make me wonder who Alice will be fighting this time as she has already killed most of the main characters in Wonderland. Well, there's always the Walrus and the Carpenter.

Well, it was implied in the final movie of the first game that the Mad Hatter, the Cheshire Cat, and the White Rabbit were all resurrected. Will the Mad Hatter be sane this time? Will previous allies be enemies? Are other villains to reoccur?

I have heard the new rules implemented since I stopped playing magic (graduation). It makes me no longer want to play.

I honestly don't know all of the changes, mainly because I don't play against anyone either. All I know is that they did away with mana burn, and you can no longer respond on the stack after damage is done but before creatures go to the graveyard. This is a problem for a few of my decks, because I was counting on the fact that I could sacrifice a creature after it had already taken lethal damage.

I was more meaning the planeswalkers and maybe not terribly the trap cards and now the annihilators are kinda silly (though my myr deck would be amusing with some of the new ones.) Like you can no longer play well with old cards because you basically HAVE to have planeswalkers.

I rather like the planeswalkers, personally. They justified the downgrade of power in the storyline, and they add a new dynamic to the game. And I wouldn't say you HAVE to have PW's, as they are mythic rares. This means that not everyone is going to have them. I also don't think they're that busted, because they can be killed before their long warm-up period to their ultimate ability finishes. Red is especially efficient at dispatching them with the greatest of expedience with burn spells.
Admittedly, I saw the Eldrazi cards, saw the Annihilator mechanic and audibly yelled over and over, "That's stupid!" Like, stupid good, not stupid idiotic. I think Magic broke their own formula with mana cost versus actual worth on the board with those guys.
