I think that's a hint that there is still hope."

You say that there's no confirmation that the fanship is canon because Nintendo wants to keep the game E rated...... DiddyXDixie is canon confirmed and the Donkey Kong franchise is still E rated. so your argument here is invalid.

I agree that was uncalled for. i know she rejected Bowser as well, but that's not the point. she had no right to break Mario's heart in such a way. what she should have done was let him down gently. she knows that she means something to Mario and yet she doesn't consider his feelings for even a second. yes, she didn't have to marry Mario, but this ending was nothing more than a piss poor attempt at comedy. and it failed miserably.

There is no chemistry between Mario and Peach. they are nothing alike. and do you really think Mario would have panicked the way he did on the moon if he and Peach actually had a healthy relationship? most likely not.

But if none of this convinces you, this WILL. in Paper Mario Color Splash, it is CONFIRMED that Mario and Peach have no special relationship. www.youtube.com/watch?v=CxqBxa…

.... You can't argue that this fanship is canon anymore. i'm sorry, but your OTP is not canon.

In other words, let me explain you a thing. Actually, a few things:

1) I don't tend to ship something unless there's canon evidence for it. I'm a fangirl who does the research. And over the years I've found a LOT of evidence for Meach.
2) In rare circumstances I'll ship non-canon stuff if the fanon for it is really good and I enjoy what's there.
3) So guess what I'm going to do even if Meach is confirmed non-canon (by Nintendo, not you)? That's right -- immerse myself in the fanon, of which there is plenty.

Don't get me wrong, you do present some solid points, and for the record, I'm no pushover either. But honestly, one comment from one hater is not enough to convince me to stop loving a pairing that I've shipped for over eleven years. And I suppose conversely one comment from a fan like me is not going to make you start shipping them. So I suppose we're at an impasse. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ You do you, and I'll do me.

I'm no hater. i just don't believe that it's canon. i'm not trying to get you to stop loving this shipment. but i HATE it when people say MarioxPeach is canon when it clearly isn't. and as i showed you, Color Splash confirmed that it's not canon.

I read your entire description (yes, really xD) and I can honestly say I totally agree with what you said about your OTPs...I totally believe that Wheatley would be the type to fall in love with a human and Chell would forgive him despite everything. I have nothing against ChellDOS but I agree with what you say about how it just doesn't seem as though GLaDOS would want anything romantic with anything/one...well...besides Science ^^ have a nice day!
