Also well, thanks! I moved to a new place recently, it's very nice And I'm getting a new computer, it's so exciting! I've already ordered all the parts online, now I'm waiting for them to arrive What about you, anything interesting going on lately?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

DaggerTribal In reply to ThroughSpaceAndTime [2019-09-15 14:00:43 +0000 UTC]

Wow! A new place is so exciting! We also moved into a new place a few short years ago (: It's a lot of work though, hopefully you didn't have any troubles! Incidentally I'm also getting a new computer, it's amazing when you get an updated one! I'm not very savvy when it comes to building them myself but my brother is very good with them so I'm just waiting for him to make the finishing touches. Nothing immediately interesting has been going on lately but I did have a baby about three years ago, so that's something at least! Busy busy busy! It's been a while since we talked so I'm glad to hear things are going good & that you even remembered who I was Β

I hope you're enjoying living in the new place! Is it far away from where you lived before? Yes, moving was a lot of work, especially since they had to build this apartment building first, and there were so many delays!

I can't wait for all the computer parts to arrive so that I can finally build it It's the first time for me, but I watched some youtube tutorials about building computers, so hopefully I won't break anything!Β

Having a baby sounds very interesting, congratulations! I'm glad things are going well for you too!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

DaggerTribal In reply to ThroughSpaceAndTime [2019-09-18 01:06:38 +0000 UTC]

So you knew you were going to move in there before it was even built? I hope it's really nice then! Hopefully it's in a very convenient location for you too so that you don't have a long commute anywhere My place is only 10 minutes away from where I used to live and I'm very happy about that. Sorry you had so many delays, but I'm glad you finally got to move in!

Youtube is so convenient for practically everything anymore! My brother was just telling me how he used Youtube to replace a toilet a while back. We've come so far in technology in such a short amount of time. I'm sure you'll have no problem building your computer, there is just so many resources out there! Plus you get the satisfaction of knowing you built it yourself

Having a baby is very interesting! I didn't actually want children until my sister had my nephew. I'm not sure what changed in me but it was for the better! So thank you (:

Yes, I kept coming here while it was being built so that I could see how it's going The location is really convenient, it takes just about 10-15 minutes to get to work What is your new place like? Is it a house, or an apartment?

I love youtube tutorials, they are really helpful! It's nice that there are so many people who are willing to teach others how to do something I've built the computer, and it's working well, I'm really happy with it! It's really fast, the games work really well. I'm playing Fallout 4 on maximum settings and it's working perfectly smooth! On my previous laptop, it wasn't very playable even on the lowest possible setting, so I love the improvement Β

It's cool that you changed your mind and decided to have a baby What's his/her name?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

DaggerTribal In reply to ThroughSpaceAndTime [2019-09-20 17:41:05 +0000 UTC]

Having a brand new place would be really awesome, even if it was an apartment! 15-20 minutes isn't a bad commute time either! Sounds like you're really happy about your place

That's awesome your computer is working great! I don't play many computer games but my laptop is so laggy when it comes to things I want to do. I think the only game I play on it is Minecraft Β  I've never played the Fallout games but I've had a slight interest from afar. But max settings is awesome, especially if it's running smoothly!

We named him Joshua. I was really close to naming him something nerdy though Maybe the next baby if we decide to have another!

Yes, I'm very happy with it! I'm going back home for the weekend, but I'm kind of sad to leave this new place, even just for two days! But it will be nice to see my family

Minecraft is really popular, but I've never played it! I should try it sometime, and see why so many people like it

Joshua is a nice name What kind of nerdy names did you have in mind?

DaggerTribal In reply to ThroughSpaceAndTime [2019-09-30 15:11:29 +0000 UTC]

Do you live very far from family? Thankfully I only live 5 minutes from my mom and 20 minutes from my brother, whom I visit a lot! Do you live by yourself? I never had the chance to live by myself, I think it would have been an interesting experience! But yes, it's always good to see family Are you close with yours?

Minecraft is a lot of fun if you like to build or do mindless tasks! I find it relaxing I've made my own house in Minecraft, that was a lot of fun too! It gave me the chance to really take a good look at my home and the surrounding area. I think it would be fun to build my neighborhood too!

Joshua almost got named Nyx from FFXV's Kingsglaive It's kinda funny seeing it written out now. I was pregnant when the movie came out and had the opportunity to see it in theaters. One of my friends actually named her son after the main character of FFXV - I'm not sure if I could name baby Noctis though. Funny, my brother named his cat that as well, and somehow that seems more normal. I think it's more normal to name pets after characters than it is people. Do you have any pets?

ThroughSpaceAndTime In reply to DaggerTribal [2019-11-08 20:41:32 +0000 UTC]

Hi, sorry it took me a while to reply, I had a busy time!

Yes, I live by myself Living by myself is great It currently takes about 4 hours to travel to my family (most of that by train). But they are rebuilding the train tracks at the moment, and when they finish it should be possible to go there much faster, I can't wait until they do it! And yes, I'm close to my family, and I visit quite regularly. And recently my parents visited me in my new apartment.

Recently I started playing Fortnite, it's so popular that I just had to check it out! And it's quite fun

That's true, I think naming pets after game characters is more normal than children And what if the child grows up and ends up hating that game, or the character? I don't have any pets, I don't think I'd be a good owner! I'm too lazy to take good care of any animals o__O

DaggerTribal In reply to ThroughSpaceAndTime [2019-11-19 02:40:52 +0000 UTC]

Hopefully you find some more free-time! It's hard to come by these days

Wow 4 hours is a long commute! Hopefully the new tracks will cut the time down by a lot! I think it's great when people are close with their families, hopefully you can find time for the holidays to be with your family again.

I'm not very good with shooting games, though I haven't tried any since I found out that I play better with inverted controls, maybe I'd be good at them then? It seems like eeeeveryone loves Fortnite these days! I just recently got the newest Pokemon Game, do you have any interests in Pokemon? It's been a while since I've been excited for a new game and I've been really enjoying it lately!

I think kids tend to hate their name at some point or another anyway! Well, maybe not hate, but I definitely remember wanting to change my name when I was much, much younger. I'm not sure how it is where you live but it seems like lately kids have been getting very odd and unusually spelled names. I once shared a locker at work with a girl named 'Unique' - Isn't that unique?

I'm lazy sometimes with my pets ): I need to be better at changing litter boxes more frequently for our cats, but otherwise they mostly take care of themselves. I guess it's smarter to not own any pets if you know you can't take care of them though! Have you tried plants perhaps?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

ThroughSpaceAndTime In reply to DaggerTribal [2019-11-19 15:47:53 +0000 UTC]

Thank you!! Yes, it can be hard to find some free time! I think the world would be a much better place if weekends were longer

When the tracks are finished, the trip should be about 2 hours shorter, so it will be a huge improvement! And yes, I'm planning to spend Christmas with my family, we always spend it together

You should try playing with inverted controls, maybe you'd be good at shooting games then For me, inverted controls would be kind of weird! Yes, I love Pokemon, I played every single generation I can't wait to play the new games but I don't have a Switch yet, I'm saving for one, and also hoping that people will start selling used Switch Lites soon, so I'll be able to get one cheaply.

That's a very unique name Here the names are legally restricted, you can only give kids existing names, not invent anything new.Β

Plants are nice I'm thinking about getting some for my new apartment!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

DaggerTribal In reply to ThroughSpaceAndTime [2019-11-22 14:03:54 +0000 UTC]

It would surely be a much better world with longer weekends! I think the older I get the shorter they get Β

Wow! Cutting your travel time in half is crazy! I imagine that would be a huge sigh of relief if you only had to travel for two hours. I don't think I've ever been on a train that long, we mostly only use them in the bigger cities. I enjoy driving to commute though - One year we decided to drive to our vacation spot and it was a 15 hour drive.Β  I don't think I'll do that again! What's the longest commute you've had to make?

Hopefully you can get a nice Switch for cheap! I wish I had waited for one with a better battery life, it doesn't seem to last very long before I have to plug it in again. I like being able to play it on the TV though, not sure if the lite has that option or not? Oh! But my brother has one, it's much nicer so I can see why you'd want it! Do you know what games you intend to get for one yet if you ever find one cheap enough?

Oh! I didn't know that, or ever think about names possibly restricted. It's very interesting how different many other places in the world are to one another. Have you ever visited out of country before? I've never left the United States before, only within the states. I think airplanes are a bit intimidating!

Plants are very nice! You should definitely get some and give them names! (So you can scold and praise them properly) One of mine is named Hank. Β

ThroughSpaceAndTime In reply to DaggerTribal [2019-11-30 23:14:59 +0000 UTC]

I've noticed that too! We really need a time stopping device, because it's going by too fast!

Traveling by train has one important advantage, I can just relax and read a book in the meantime Or even sleep! But driving has its advantages too, since it gives more freedom and privacy. 15 hour drive is extremely long! Did you have some longer breaks in the meantime? When going by train, I think my longest commute was about 4 and a half hours, it was the train that I normally take when going home, but there was some kind of problem in the middle, so there was a delay. As for driving, when me and my parents went to our family in Germany on vacation, the drive was very long, probably more than 10 hours, but my parents were driving.

Thanks! I hope so too Maybe after Christmas there will be some cheaper ones. Switch Lite doesn't have the option to play on a TV, but I don't have a TV anyway. I'll be using it as the successor to a Nintendo 3DS I definitely want to play the new Pokemon Shield, and maybe I'll also get Let's Go Eevee later. I'm also very interested in Breath of the Wild, since I've seen a trailer and it looks amazing!

To me, having restricted names seems normal, and I always thought it's very unusual that Americans can give their children any name they want, even if they invent one! Yes, I visited other European countries. It's easier to visit other countries in Europe, since the whole continent is quite small, while the United States are quite large! I traveled by airplane a few times, and it's true that they are intimidating!

That's a nice name! I hope Hank likes it Β

Oops, it's been nearly a month since my last reply, sorry about that. Things have been very crazy as of late.

Yes! I can see how driving and riding the train have their own advantages. I personally prefer privacy and the ability to listen to my own music in the car Driving can be very therapeutic in my opinion, though other drivers can be very stressful at times. The closer to the bigger cities the more aggressive people can drive and that's not enjoyable. But the long stretches of road with nice scenery is always nice!

I finally beat Pokemon Shield! I really enjoyed this Pokemon game, so I hope you will to if & when you ever get a chance to play it. It's hard to believe Christmas is just around the corner. It's been a very long month it seems, so I'm partially happy it's almost over but at the same time I really enjoy the atmosphere of Christmas!

Hopefully you have been well & have a good Christmas!

It's ok, it seems that it's taking me a long time to reply too Happy New Year, by the way!

You're right, I always thought that driving your own car can be nice because you can listen to your music easily, without having to put on headphones And driving on a road with a nice scenery and not many other drivers sounds like a lot of fun!

Congratulations! I'm glad you enjoyed it! I'll definitely enjoy it too, when I get it I've read recently that there are going to be some DLC for the new Pokemon games. I'm thinking about postponing buying the game until all the DLCs are released, so that I can play an expanded version of the game from start to finish

My Christmas was great, thanks And yours? Did you get any interesting presents?

DaggerTribal In reply to ThroughSpaceAndTime [2020-01-28 05:25:04 +0000 UTC]

My husband and I are talking about taking a trip sometime this year and we have to debate on either driving out or flying out instead. All this talk about driving kind of makes me want to drive! Though admittedly flying would make the vacation a bit longer and potentially enjoyable. I've never ridden on an airplane though Have you? (Did I already ask that?Β  ) I'm sure it's very easy but I don't like being in very crowded places like airports, and turbulence seems kinda scary!

Yes the DLC for Sword & Shield look very interesting! Hopefully when you do get it you'll like it, I had a lot of fun! I was a bit sad to hear that the remake for Final Fantasy 7 got delayed, but that gives me a bit more time to enjoy Animal Crossing I suppose Β

My Christmas was okay! It didn't feel nearly as Christmasy this year, if that makes sense? We were very very busy and didn't have much time to enjoy the holiday atmosphere. We didn't really decorate much either. I love to go all out during Christmas since it's my favorite holiday, so it was a bit sad But maybe this year will be different! It's a new year and a new decade! Did you set any new years resolutions? So far I've made it a goal to drink more water!Β

A trip sounds good! If you go by plane, you can go somewhere far away I've had some trips by plane in my life. They are kind of scary and exciting at the same time And I actually like airports, they are very interesting places Β

I'm sure I'll enjoy the game too, when I get it eventually Final Fantasy 7 remake sounds great too! The original is one of my most favorite games ever. But since I already know the story, playing a remake won't really be as exciting as playing the original for the first time, unless there will be some unexpected changes!Β

I think it does make sense! Although my Christmas was quite Christmasy, more or less the same as always As for new years resolutions, I don't really have any, although I'm trying to draw more recently

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

ThroughSpaceAndTime In reply to AsiaOneMoon [2015-03-06 13:34:30 +0000 UTC]

I love Chrono Trigger, it's one of my favorite games! (the sequel is also really good!) I've read a lot of Lem's short stories when I was little, but I barely remember anything now, except that I enjoyed them. But I've also read a novel by him ("NiezwyciΔ™ΕΌony", which means Invincible but I'm not sure if it's the official English title) which I've read again quite recently, and I loved it very much. The sense of mystery about the strange planet and what happened there was amazing. Have you read it?

I'm doing well, thanks! Just having a lazy day now. (I should be applying for jobs, but I'm procrastinating ) I traveled to Warsaw by train today, and slept most of the time during the trip. How are you doing?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

AsiaOneMoon In reply to ThroughSpaceAndTime [2015-03-06 14:16:07 +0000 UTC]

I haven't played Chrono Cross yet. But I will. ^^ I dislike how the two actually have stuff in common, like Kid and Schala and so on.

Oh I checked the Russian name, I did start it but to be honest I got so bored of this. xD I may love Lem but I won't denmy that some things do bore me, but usually the wait for something awesome to happen is always worth it. xD BUT sadly in this story it was so boring. D: It was an audio book, maybe if I read it it was better. I will try to read it later. I started "Comeback from the stars" and man it is frustrating! I mean, the frustration the man feels also can be felt by a reader. xD I love "Solaris" the most. It was what made me say that Lem is my favourite author. It is just so great.

Lazying at the end of the week is OK. I also am looking for a job right now. What happened in Warsaw?
I am so-so, I am having many health issues and I am tired of them and also having money issues and just asked people in the forums how does one ever ask for donations in internet and they went bitch-mode on me. *facepalm* One was so freaking rude and this all added to my heart issues. All in all, very stressed. =_= BUT me and mopm went shopping and I recently ate so I am kind again. xDD Haha.

ThroughSpaceAndTime In reply to AsiaOneMoon [2015-03-06 14:38:06 +0000 UTC]

Have fun playing it! I think it's good they have stuff in common, because it's a sequel, so they are supposed to be related When playing Chrono Cross, I wished they had even more stuff in common! But I enjoyed it very much.

For me, it wasn't boring, it was quite interesting xD But different people like different things. Maybe it's because of the audio book, reading is faster than listening to audiobooks, so the story moves forward more quickly. I haven't read Solaris, but I've seen the movie, and it was interesting! I guess I should read the book some time. What other authors and books do you like? I love sci-fi in general (and fantasy too) so there might be a lot more that we both like ^^

Good luck with your job search! Well, I kind of live in two places at the same time xD I live with my parents in Świdnik, but I was studying in Warsaw and then had a job in Warsaw for a year, so I'm renting a flat here. And I want my next job to be in Warsaw too. I hope I find one ^^  Unemployment is quite high here, so a lot of people apply for jobs. I'm sorry to hear about your health and money issues, I hope everything turns out good!
