Hey man would you be willing to join my studio?
We're trying to make a Star Wars film from scratch. The movie will based on Karen Traviss' Republic/Imperial Commando novels. I need a team to help give opinions and new ideas. Obviously, previously made models, landscapes and ideas can be used.
I'd like to have you as a character modeler.

I appreciate the offer, but I think I shall pass. I've always thought Traviss' stuff was pretty off the mark - it always seemed to me that she (and many others, to be fair) wanted to take the clones and turn them completely into Mandalorians without much of any regard to the fact that they were still clones. And while the idea of injecting culture and individuality into the clones is a good one, I've always felt it was too easily overdone and quickly strained credulity.
More importantly, though, I've got lots of projects of my own right now and don't really feel I could devote the time needed to be at all useful.

Deja vu, eh? As it turns out, I was in another slump! I must admit, my resolve for this Grievous project is faltering. Fear not, however (or fear on, depending on your point of view), for I have put such a significant investment in this project that, even if I absolutely could not bring myself to do a second of the few remaining scenes I have, I would arrange and beautify and finish what I have started and release it as is.
That said, I'm nearing completion of GTV. I have a few more scenes I'd like to do but consider optional. All of the big required sequences are nearly done. I need to finish those three (GFL, Griev-O's, and the Music Video) up and do a lot of minor cosmetic work on the whole project. Then I get to make some music and start the rendering! Oh boy, lookin' forward to it. I sure hope that someone besides me gets to appreciate all my hard work in the long run.
Also, for those very few of you who might possibly read this and care about my updates, I am sorry I have not placed a shot up in weeks. Truth be told, also, I don't have a shot this week either. Hold onto your britches, though. I'm getting work done, and some of it is pretty dang awesome. (Grievous' breakdance is probably my favorite 8 seconds of the whole project. Just animated that baby last weekend.)

I was in a little of a slump here recently, hence the relative lack of updates. However, my experimentation with Zbrush is starting to yield some (somewhat) quality results and I'm back on the job! I've accomplished some major work on Grievous' music video (which, after I get my trumpet friend to record for me, I can complete entirely) and will next be finishing up GFL!

Thanks, all, for your kind words. I am in the process of working on my two most ambitious scenes, both of which are doing pretty well so far. I think you'll get a shot from Grievous' music video this week, and then next week an animation from GFL.
Keep an eye on me if you like. Animation for GTV is more than half done!
