My favorite illustrations are ones realistically depicting the unreal. But I also have great respect for artists like you who can deliver both realism and stylized or cartoonish pictures and make both look good.

A couple art ideas (as if you didn't have enough already)...

1) How in the heck does a nine-tailed kitsune's spine split that many ways? My estimation says a butt doesn't have that much room on it! And I don't even want to know how it takes a crap.

2) Blue field entoptic phenomenon. Sure, it's just afterimages of white blood cells, but it looks like a horde of freaky little interdimensional worms infesting the blue sky. They're feeding on the floaters!
