Usually I do plan my stuff and have a purpose behind it, but that one, no -- I just started painting the eye, no sketching, and made the face around it.

no problem! its been good! and yea i have been....i just need to get them up on here....its hard to get a somewhat good quality to post....especially when its oil paint....lol

Haha, true! And especially if you don't have a small canvas to fit into your scanner. ;) (Wink) I've actually heard that photographing your artwork at around 10:00 outside gives you the best lighting. Shrug Shrug Shrug Shrug Shrug Never tried it myself, but hey, who knows? (And yeah, I haven't dug out my oils since leaving Painting class! Noes! Noes! Noes! Noes! Noes! But I have been working with my acrylics lately.)
