My prices aren't quite set in stone yet. Generally I charge 5 to 10 points more than how much an adoptable on a sheet would cost.

Okay, well, what I do is:


1. Draw a base
2. Create designs on said base
3. Submit it
4. Put it into adoptables groups
5. Sell it to whoever claims it first
6. Receive the points from the buyer


It's fairly simple, but you do have to work for the points you receive, at least to a certain extent.

So yes, you do actually accumulate points.

To adopt something out,

You submit it, and the first person that comments gets it- however, if they are unable to pay for it, you can put it on hold for them, or give it to the next person who CAN pay.

To buy an adoptable yourself,

You follow the guidelines the artist puts up, and pay the points and receive it as your own. However, credit still belongs to the original artist for the design. Some artists are harsh about this, but I only ask for credit the FIRST time a design I created is used.

Yes.

I give this example to people who ask me often,

If you buy a shirt, once payed for, you are allowed to wear it.

It's essentially the same basic principle.
