I wanted to comment on the landscape with farm competition photo but comments were disabled for that.
Mainly I would be curious to see what the Photoshop 'watercolour' artistic filter did to it. I've taken to reviewing old files and finding something to give an updated treatment to on most days. The result is (sometimes) quite believable fine art 'fake' paintings:Β

Thank you for sharing.Β Since you asked found that NPR works best in fine layers over the original.Β
Took the original photo and used the following in PhotoShop
- Filter Gallery - Palate KnifeΒ (main effect layer)
- Oil Paint (using a 20% opacity layer)
- Deep dream with chunky impasto style reference image (for mild color enhancement, often unreliable for larger images.)
- Filter Gallery - Texturizer - CanvasΒ (made a copy of all layers, used the filter, then set opacity at 30%)

I had a close look at this and it does achieve quite a lot in the way of making this look like a fine art painting. Some of my efforts are positively crude by comparison.
