Thank you, and yeah, im doing a 365 project, taking a photo everyday, hoping to improve my work. and also for a portfolio so i can get a job.

Just some sketches/drawn and coloured, painted, etc.
Hoping to get into photography by the end of this year though, if you see the post above I'm looking for a camera.

Right on, Just keep in mind, just because it had more Mega Pixels doesnt Nessicarly mean it'll be beter. The quality depends on the photographer! Ive used my Droid for about a year before fore i got my Nikon D3100 and it took some amazing pictures, even for a 5 mp camera.


I found a camera thats a tad more than your budget but this would be a good camera for starting. [link]

I know that megapixels aren't everything in a camera, been hearing it from everyone.
Would the Nikon D series be a good place to begin, then?
Just so I know if I find I cheap functional one with lenses whether to grab it or not :3
Otherwise it'll be between the compact Coolpix, or what was posted by ~Eightofspades

Fer sure! Its my first DSLR camera, and im loving it! And I would say yes, just because i use nikon, but Canon is also good, i've used both as a filmmaker/Photographer. and I love em both. Alot of lenses you can usually find pretty cheap on ebay or B&h.com and usually most cameras will come with a lens kit now. Mine came with a 18-55mm lens and its been good for most of my work so far.

I'm going to keep looking on here for a bit longer incase anyone has any idea of a more affordable one, and keep an eye out for the cameras that have been recommended to me so far
