Have you ever wanted to have some kind of super power?
Well.....what if I told you that there is a way that can give humans super strength, and is not a drug or anything like that

ankh999 In reply to VoxMagi [2015-09-27 16:09:32 +0000 UTC]

Yes, this ma...does sounds silly, but by twisting fishing line and other things that I don't know, finishing line can be replaced the default muscle Fibre which humans are born with, and they are......100x times stronger

"Top 10 technologies that can make you into a super hero"

ankh999 In reply to VoxMagi [2015-09-28 09:33:20 +0000 UTC]

Ok, meanwhile I have been thinking :
If you would have the power to sacrifice part of your life to give to someone else
(Shall we say sacrifice 1 year of your life and someone else gains that year )
Don't you think that this is kind of a noble act?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

VoxMagi In reply to ankh999 [2015-09-28 22:45:03 +0000 UTC]

I think it depends, honestly. I mean if you just did it without knowing either one of your lifespans, and the person in question was perfectly healthy and you'll both likely live around the same amount of years, it seems rather silly. What if you needed that one year more than the other person, and you only succeeded in devastating them and other loved ones because your life ended too soon?

On the other hand, let's say you had a friend who was suffering from an illness or something else and/or you knew when their life was going to end. If you sacrificed a year of your own life to give them one more year of there's, I think that's very noble, so long as they're not suffering in some way. For example, they may not want to live another year if they were a vegetable and had to rely on life support.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ankh999 In reply to VoxMagi [2015-09-29 00:48:51 +0000 UTC]

I mean by simply letting they live normally, but even if many people said that it is a good thing/noble.
Part of....I can see it as a bad thing(here's goes me with my dark ideas)
Can I explain why/how/what I mean by that?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

VoxMagi In reply to ankh999 [2015-09-29 01:49:28 +0000 UTC]

Of course! ^^
I'm curious to know what you mean.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ankh999 In reply to VoxMagi [2015-09-29 09:41:51 +0000 UTC]

Well...let Me tell you about a certain event in a game :
A woman is turned into something not human and when she is about to die, a Angel ask "what sin did you did? "
And she reply
"I sacrifice my life to save my own son's life; throwing away your life is a sun, no matter the reason"
Meaning that even if I could give away one year of mine life to give to someone, I would be doing pretty much the same thing, but I would still do it! As long as it's mean that person can have one healthy year, I do it, because if were just to live as a vegetable is a pretty lame thing, and if they asked me anything I simply lie, but the evil of my actions would only affect myself, and that's enough for me

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

VoxMagi In reply to ankh999 [2015-09-29 09:59:54 +0000 UTC]

But there's nothing evil about that. From what I can tell, you're talking about suicide, but sacrificing one year of your life for a loved one sounds much different than committing suicide. I won't get into the whole subject of suicide itself since that's not really the topic, but it's like if you were to jump in front of someone to take a bullet that was aimed for them. You certainly wouldn't be punished for that, nor is it in any way evil, no matter how you look at it. You gave your life to save a loved one, and that's quite a noble thing to do, especially when you don't care for the consequences. I doubt you'd be punished for it. Jesus himself sacrificed himself in order to save humanity from our sins, he didn't have to be crucified at all but he chose to.

ankh999 In reply to VoxMagi [2015-09-29 21:24:53 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, however, even if I would have that power, I would only use for the ones that I love/care about, however I still wouldn't consider myself as a hero/guardian/whatever I would simply be someone who would do whatever feels like

I know that this is out of the blue, but I remember a quote from somewhere
"if trees offer wi-fi signal we would plant so many trees that we would save the planet, unfortunately they only offer air"

VoxMagi In reply to ankh999 [2015-10-01 02:20:05 +0000 UTC]

.....I'n not sure how to respond to that comment. "Unfortunately"? We need air to live! XD
That should be plenty of reason to plant more of them. It's unfortunate that we think wifi was more important than air.

Yeah.....
OK, shall we change the subject? I don't remember if I discuss this with you, but
"What's your favorite game over screen" it can be from any game from any platform

VoxMagi In reply to ankh999 [2015-10-02 07:31:25 +0000 UTC]

Ooo, that's a tough one.... Hmmm.... Kingdom Hearts would probably have to be my favorite, with Legend of Zelda being a close second and then maybe Pokemon. If you want one specific game, though, and not a game series, that's probably even harder XD

For me is a game called: shin megami tensei:nocturne.
Want to see how it is? Go to YouTube and type
shin megami tensei:nocturne gave over
There is also the most funny one....which is oddly enough from a horror game!
Silent Hill 4 the room, same as above, but adding game over
But let me explain:
The guy fall on his knees and screams all dramatically before falling.....why is it funny? It doesn't look like he gets killed, looks more like he rage quite from a game or something

It's from a game called "rule of rose"

I watch cry too, he is awesome!
Also needless to say that rule of rose is a pretty disturbing game, I consider myself a "evil" person, but that game.... by the way did you know what is written in the game over screen?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

VoxMagi In reply to ankh999 [2015-10-06 07:19:01 +0000 UTC]

He is!
I agree there, it's pretty disturbing, though the game as a whole was so-so for me. Especially the ending, things got so weird. And how do you mean? What writing?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ankh999 In reply to VoxMagi [2015-10-06 09:40:29 +0000 UTC]

The writing above
"And they all lived happily ever after! "
There is a text there, but it's very hard to read, I had to look online to figure out what was there

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

VoxMagi In reply to ankh999 [2015-10-06 15:16:04 +0000 UTC]

Are you talking about the text:

"Little princess, little princess,
precious little princess.
The little girl was as beautiful as a princess.
But she was always alone.
The girl found her grave.
Today is the day of her funeral."

If so, yes.

I was at a birthday party of a friend of mine.... And he invite a girl who is hates/insult me a lot... Then after some time she had to leave and me and other guys were on our way to leave her at the bus stop.... On our way we were stoped by a thief, the others were a little ahead and I was the one who stood in front of her, she was very afraid of the situation.... He was looking at for her, but I stood there,he taunts/treat us, but I simply wait for a reaction (we were 5 against 1,he had no gun) After some time he must realized that it was better to leave and so he did....but even after that she doesn't even say "Thank you " and still insults me

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

VoxMagi In reply to ankh999 [2015-09-04 02:46:39 +0000 UTC]

It was still the right thing to do, I think. Did she deserve it? Maybe not, but there was a chance she could of been harmed in some way but you didn't back down nor left her alone. The sad thing is that we're not always recognized for good deeds, and often aren't thanked for them, but that's not why we do them. Even so, it doesn't mean you have to take crap from others like that girl, and she owes you a great deal and should of been grateful for it.

If she's being rude to you, you should try not hanging out with her and/or let your other friends know. If it really bothers you, just stop seeing them if they won't get rid of her or talk to her, or talk to her yourself and stand up for yourself. Sometimes girls like her need to be knocked down a peg or two and usually (in fact it's nearly all the time) when the person they're insulting defends themselves and humiliates them in front of others, they usually back off and leave you alone.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ankh999 In reply to VoxMagi [2015-09-04 20:28:40 +0000 UTC]

I see.....I don't talk to her or anything like that, but in the end of the year, my friend will probably call her again for his birthday party, and if she comes.....I don't know what to do.....maybe avoid even look at her?let's see if she even say "hi" if she does I look at her, if she doesn't....I don't even look at her, but all that I can say is that if I were to leave her in that moment....considering the country which I live in....things were not going to be any good for her....not at all

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

VoxMagi In reply to ankh999 [2015-09-05 04:43:40 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, she really should of been grateful to you. People like that are the worse :/
Still, sometimes we have to set our own feelings aside in order to do the right thing. I say go with your plan and avoid her as much as you can if you don't want to confront her about it, it sounds like she's just not worth your time.
