It was ok. It was sort of lonely to be honest. The girlfriend was out of town and when she got back she didn't seem to miss me very much. But I'm sure you don't want to hear about that.

Today I went downtown [Toronto] to do some shopping and spend some time at Nuit Blanche; an arts festival. Of course I had to do some shopping beforehand, so I bought a new winter coat, among a few other things... so overall it was a good day.

That sounds like a lot of fun. In Texas, where I live it's pretty socially & culturally backwards, so we don't have arts festivals. I'm doing fairly well, myself. Thanks for asking.

Well, some parts of Texas do, but where I live is very conservative, uber-Christian, buckle of the Bible Belt land. Honestly I don't really do anything for fun. Fun-time is pretty limited to drawing, deviantArt & Facebook. I watch a lot of movies to pass the time, mainly horror & sci-fi. The town I live in is only about 3,000 people & the nearest city that you may have heard of isn't even in Texas, because it's such a large state. I used to visit a friend in Denver, Colorado but she moved to California. People "like us" are way too different, so the few of us that live here are basically social rejects & misfits, lol! Just to illustrate how sucky it is here, my father's car got a dent kicked in it by a dude in cowboy boots after the last Presidential elections because he had an Obama sticker. Awesome, huh? Sorry for the rant there. Hope you are well & that we talk more.

About the US, to be honest I'm not proud to be an American & never have been. I was a little proud when President Obama was elected, but he's turning out to be just another politician.
