just curious - so many talents - your writing is brilliant - what is your true passion sir? acting? playwriting? all these frustrations with auditions - me thinks you belong on stage but i certainly hope you keep a pen in your hand!

Acting is my master passion career and activity-wise, but when it's a case of self-expression writing is the key for me. As a writer, I am a mind; as an actor, I am a pen for hire. I like writing plays because one can use staging, physicality, setting and vocal tone as well as langauge to convey a point.

i would love, love, love to see you on stage! break a leg this weekend at your audition - i eagerly await the outcome - are you going with the beret as your new look?

unfortunately I have yet to purchase the beret. With any luck I'll be able to get it tomorrow...if not, then I guess I'll just have to go with the cuban militia cap I've got...

Hey, thanks for the fav and the watch!
Isn't the world overpopulated anyway? Can't we just start killing the stupid children?
Teachers should be allowed to administer three executions per year, on students of their choosing. So let it be done.

They should all be fitted with microchips that deliver an agonising shock and bright flash every time the kid swears. Norwich would be a 24/7 firework display.

Hello, and welcome to deviantART! The Welcome Centre already gave you a great start-off; enjoy your stay!
And thank you for the comment and favourite on my latest poem; your interpretation of it was very welcome and very accurate, in terms of my own intentions. The veracity-criticism is really the main theme of the piece, and the animal-characterisation is really a reference to the leading figures of the church(es) and other religious establishments who hold immense power (and used to hold even more). But seeing the reference as being towards zealots is an interesting say to see it; I would not take such a straighforward and offensive stance myself, but it is a valid view to hold.
So thank you again!
