In a realm not quite like what others expect, or see everyday. Islands floated in the sky, and the galaxy, the space between planets. One planet was shaped as a canine, same as its moon. A neighboring planet was heart shaped, though its moon was round. The red heart shaped planet had blue oceans upon it, huge lakes.
The canine shaped planet was Reverth, its moon was called Enthia. Night was called Denthi there. Their tongue was different.
On the heart shaped planet, it was called rogue whereas its moon was the same, called a moon by Earthlings: Humans.
There resided two suns, they stood side by side looking down at the planets beyond them.
With that, the details zoomed in towards the canine planet: Reverth. On there a girl walked in the streets of the town she lived in. Her eyes were purple, and she had unusually thick and heavy hair which stretched down to her lower back.
Her name was Claire Saraphia, taken into the wings of a Master. She was a slave, sold by her parents who didn't want her.
Though she hadn't any problem with not seeing her real parents, she wanted parents that actually cared about her. Claire had feelers, one on each side. One was named Dae, the demon, the other was called Megs, the angel.
Claire loved hearing their conversations with each other, and sparingly she'd join in with their speeches.
She sighed, taking the clear air of the town. She made her way to a gate, that led to outside of the town.
It was her spare time now.

As she aproached the gate sounds of claws scrapeing against the concrete and loud raspy breathing were heard following her,slowly stalking her, watching her every move.

Claire felt uneasy, and moved quicker towards the forest. The sooner she was out there, the better her chance of using her surroundings for cover and for a fight. Her pace was more strident, and persistent. As she walked, almost trot, she felt her cowardice rise inside her.

The sounds picked up speed until a flash of a creature passed her and landed upon the gate Guarding it. It looked human but wasnt, it had skin torn off in places bone protudeing from its back and its face it was featureless and it slowly split apart reveiling a mouth. Rows of teeth were moveing back and forth three tentical like. Apendages came out of its throat, twisting and swirling in the air for a bit before retreating back in and its mouth closed and looked at her. Even though it had no eyes claire felt it peer into her soul

Claire shuddered, and the feelers which were her friends had enlarged and shot her over the wall. They caught her at the last second. She ran into the forest, and hid in a tree trunk. It was secluded and very very safe. It was dark, and as she silenced her breathing, she listened to the sounds around her.

An unearthly shriek was heard where the gate was and loud stomps were heard through out the forest the creature passing the tree trunk mutiple times tryinto find her before stopping 30ft from the trunk and clawing at the ground.

Claire's heart pounded. Get away! She screamed inside her thoughts.

The creature slowly turned to the trunk and charged at it. Half way there a shadowy tendril reached out from the darkness and grabed ahold of the creature and brought it back to where it the tendril came from.

Claire swallowed bile, and was tense. The sudden silence was eerie. Scary even. She feared the next event to happen. She pray to Ulken for her safety.

A screech was heard but cut short from the sound of bones breaking. A light appeard from the darkness it was like a warm soft glow from a fire another firgure stood near the light. She could make out it was human but not the features. A pair of red eyes glowed from it.

Claire scooted more into the darkness, and hushed her feelers from speaking.

The eyes looked around. She notied one of them was dimmer than the other one makeing it a more pinkish red. It scaned the area before falling back onto the trunk. Whispering was hear in her mind, alot of whispers before she heard a more clearer one"go now your safe. There are no more creatures like this in the area. You are safe. " it said before the eyes vanish and the whispers subsided.

Claire gave a soft, shuddering sigh and looked around outside before she stood out of her hiding place. The girl continued on her walk, she silently thanked Ulken and pet her feelers.

She felt a pair of eyes on her but they didnt feel like eyes of something dangerous. They felt more watchful like they were watching over her, protecting her, makeing sure she was safe.

Claire cleared her throat, "Alright speak."
The brown eye, rimmed with blue around the iris spoke first, "Now this is why you should learn to fight, so that you can protect yourself." Megs said.
Dae rolled her eyes. "No, she just needs to act pretty. No one hurts a pretty girl."
"Wrong. It doesn't matter what a girl looks like, she gets hurt whether she likes it or not." Megs replied.
Claire sighed. She didn't want to learn how to fight, that was familiar to her as much as certain things in her life. If she fought more, everyone would target her. And if everyone targeted her...she'd die. And dying was the least of what she wanted to do. Her stomach twisted and felt dissolved: sick to her stomach. She knew that someday she'd have to learn to fight. But she hoped and prayed to Ulken that it wasn't anytime soon.

"Id listen to both of them" came a voice from the shadows

Claire stared at the ground as her feelers kept at their chatting:
"That's just a rumor, pretty always wins."
"No it doesn't."
"Yes it doooes."
"Be careful what you wish for."

Claire finally looked up to search for who was talking, who sighed. She shushed Megs and Dae.

"Now that they shut up. You should listen to them. Being pretty can only get you so far sooner or later you going to have to kick someones ass."

Claire let her hair hide her face. "Could you teach me how to?"

"Your asking some random person to teach you how to fight. How do you know im not just being friendly only to kill you later?"

"You lucky im not like the rest of the demons who would kill you" the voice sighed

Claire was a fool to trust a complete stranger, but strange, and not familiar to her was...comforting. She was willing to take the chance. "Teach me."

"Alright" the voice said before a cold chill ran down her spine " turn around"

Claire saw her feelers look before her. "Is it safe?" She asked them, Megs nodded and Dae sarcastically shook her head. With that she turned around hesitantly, and could see with one eye through her thick and heavy hair which hid her face.

The person was standing their his red eyes stared at her through his mask except one was a pinkish red.

Claire blinked, and stared into his eyes. They seemed...comforting.

"Alright at this point you have two choices. Act pretty or fight. What do you choose?"

Megs had strained Dae to keep quiet, and Claire sighed. "Teach me how to fight."

"I was getting to that part. Do you have a weapon?"

She hung her head in defeat. "No..."

"And thats how you die. You always carry a weapon even something like a dagger would work" he said tossing her a shadowy weapon " use that. It wont harm us or anyone" he said brandishing his own.

She held the weapon, looking at it with wonder.

"What ever you want to use it will turn into it"

"Oh." She said silently. Her purple eyes looked back up to him.
