To find out on how Vergil becomes the Vergil we know from the classic DMC games (particularly DMC3), we'd best get the Vergil's Downfall DLC; he plays exactly like the classic Vergil! Summoned Swords, Judgement Cut, Dimensional Slash, etc.
I knew he'd prefer Yamato over guns; the only time he had to use one is during the trade between Kat and Lilith where he killed Mundus' spawn inside Lilith's womb.

Oh yeah! I remember seeing the trailer for that!
I'm glad they stuck with the original fighting style, of all the orignal functions that they could apply to the newer games, I think that one is their best.
