It really depends on what ideas I have and what stock I find to best portray said ideas. With some pieces I can sit down and they are done within a couple hours but more-often I'm short on time, so I slowly work through a piece during the week before I'm happy enough with it to stop.

Cool, the process sounds really interesting. Do you find it difficult to get stock images to reflect what you're thinking? Sorry for bugging you with questions :L

No problem^^ I do have issues if I have something very specific in mind but if I have a general theme idea, I browse stock and look for an image that really screams "That's it!". I used to make my own stock for that very reason but I just don't have the time... or funds... for anything like that anymore. The people on DA have really improved in the stock department since the last time I was lurking around here, so it's rare that I have an idea that I really can't find something to work with.
