He died April 13.  I suspect he'll unretire and return to the airwaves in a couple of months to prove even *death* wrong!

I'm doin' pretty darned mostly alright.  Just doin' work/eat/sleep/internet, with the occasional road trip to hang out with friends!

I don't know, I was sick enough that I went in to the ER that morning.  And then back two days later 'cause the antibiotic they gave me was making my tendons hurt (and possibly rigging them to explode).

I feel less like shit now, but I'm still not quite over the light pneumonia yet.

Sorry I didn't see this until now, I just haven't been getting on dA much lately.  I'm not sure what I'm going to do regarding dA with their iffy sounding sale to Wix.

My local ones are my favorites - the Community Co-op and Terra (might still be Terra Organica on social media/websites).  Trader Joes is good, too.

Whole Foods, however, can just fuck right off.  I only go there when I want some sorrel out of season.

as for the sale.. ih ave no idea.. right now it seems tobe running fine.. but i have backed everything up just incase.

I'm glad to hear it!!!!  How have things been since then?

I've been pulling back and reevaluating life things lately, partly because I'm randomly a hormone monster who has to suck down kava kava, and mostly because I really REALLY just need to for a while.  Humans are just so exhausting right now.  I'm also making some healthy changes to my diet - I've really become enamored lately of miso soup for breakfast and an evening snack, and GreeNoodles, and shopping at a little Asian market in my old high school neighborhood that I never bothered going to back 30 years ago when I lived literally a block from it.  Did finally got to try green tea KitKats - not as good as I heard, unfortunately.

Anyway...

Kitkats tea is ok... I prefer the republic of tea green tea but 
the doofy natural foods store and tea shop almost never get it in
and it costs an arm an a leg to order off their site, shipping fees will get you.

OMG that stuff is delicious right? oion soup is good too but not as.
I have never tried the green noodles before.. may give them ago.

so yah.. Lifes been strangely peaceful with out those two to bug me. 
And what i got back from my sister its tough to describe.. i think as I understand it 
more i will be able to..
but i cant really articulate it. not yet at least.

Green tea flavored Kit-kats are not a tea - they're Kit-kats covered in a green tea flavored candy coating instead of chocolate.  Its a Japanese thing.  They also have strawberry and mango, but I haven't tried those yet.  Maybe I'll send you some some time.

There used to be a local general grocery chain here that had an aisle with Scandinavian and Russian foods, too, but they went belly up.  Bunch of expat Russkies and Ukranians here, along with Asians of all types.  Kinda interesting for a city of our small size.
