anywho ive been off dev art for awhile but i think im getting back into the swing of things and has returned with random art updates and such 
but im just popping up to say "hey whats up?","hows it been?","long time no see" and such lol xD
and heres a zombie version of fox or some thing in muro....i don't know....it's pretty bad i could do alot better but whatevs and yes....i have WAAAAAY to much free time

Yes yes, I figured my old username was a bit too akin to my jerk of a 13 year old self XD So I decided I needed a more mature username. It also matches with my tumblr and email, which means I'll never forget which account is which XD
As for how I've been, it's been an interesting year (My god has it been that long?)
Not much has been going on for me in the way of art, but I do try to practice on occasion (these drawings rarely make it up here though.)
I do check back regularly though, nice to see a familiar face once in a while!

ive been poping on randomly and far apart im hoping i can get back to a schedual i have like 30 things i could upload ..... but my hard drive crashed, i procrastinate....aaaaand i might be a tad bit lazy xD ^u^;;

I practice my writing daily, I'm an active roleplayer on tumblr, so I need to keep in practice for all of that. I haven't really written any stories recently aside from the re-re-write of my old story. Although I may just scrap it because it was a terrible story, and nothing I can do will salvage it XD.

Been a long time since I got this question. Although I'd love to help you out, I've been in a really big slump lately that's required the use of references. Anything I draw without one looks like something straight from the sunday funnies. Really it just depends on what you'd like. If it's simple enough I'll give it a go.

To my knowledge it's impossible to directly load them to a rom. for Lylat-Reloaded we have an easy to use executable file though, you'll just need to go to the download section of our forums located here: [link] there's also an easy to follow guide to installing the textures manually (this is the recommended method)

I do a lot of doodling, but it feels like instead of improving I've regressed in my abilities. I'll try and come up with something within the next couple of days, but there's no guarantee that I'll be able to get anything good up here.

Two words: Style derivation
In an attempt to develop a secondary "quick style" for artists blocks and quick doodles I've effectively erased my old style.

Lies ! What I've learnt recently is to draw a really bad sketch of what your going to draw first then go over it and add details with a darker pencil. Or start with a blue coloured pencil an make an almost see-through sketch then go over it with a regular sketchy pencil.
I takes slightly longer but makes the picture look better because you have unwittingly drawn it twice without really thinking about it.
It is magic :3

What's wrong with cartoonish? If that is your natural style you should work with it not against it, that's probably why you find your artwork getting worse the quicker you draw.

I don't mind cartoonish styles, I just prefer my old one which was much more aesthetically pleasing in my eyes. and to be honest it seems the faster I draw the better my art is since I'm not working against my recently developed quick style.

Its because the faster you draw the lest you notice your style slipping and the drawing becomes much better because instead of focusing on how to draw, you're just drawing. If that makes sense.
