My apologies for your gallery, but at this particular junction I have only stopped by to thank you for posting one of the best damn threads I have ever seen on this site.
That, and to add that your intelligence and kindness will not cease to amaze me.
I wish I had had someone as frank and honest as you to discourse with growing up, but I'm very glad that at least some of the users here have this opportunity.

Thank you very much for your kind and encouraging words. We all wish to have had someone while growing up with whom we could discuss difficult issues knowing that the respones would be open, honest, and nonjudgmental. Sadly, many of us have not had that person in our lives. What we can do is aspire be that person in someone else's life. I'm not trying to present myself as an expert, but I will share what I know and admit what I don't and I hope it does someone, somewhere, good.

Well, your photography is simply flawless. You don't concentrate your shots of humans right in the center, which most photographers tend to do. My personal favorite is of the older couple panoramic shot. I love your photography. However, the things you've drawn/painted look strained. You should really study how eyes and lips change in varying expression, and make your subjects look a bit more relaxed. I like the original coloring technique, but it loses its splendor because your people look like stiffs. I think that after a little practice, your human drawings will start to look more pliable, and you'll find you're happier with the result. Keep at it!
