You are so welcome! We did a favorite trade :D (Big Grin) I totally agree with your statement about digital illustration. It's kind of sad. It's how I feel about cg-animated movies. I miss the hand drawn animations. I miss watercolor comic book pages.

I'm glad you agree. I hate complaining, but somehow, I feel that traditional art is tangible, you can touch the paper, you can feel the texture and the color. Watercolor, for example, is not an easy technique, where did all that art go? I agree that much practice must go into the digital stuff so it looks good, and frankly, most of the stuff on my gallery is digitally colored, but it feels like there is no longer any recognition for traditional art technique. I too miss watercolor comic pages and traditional animation. I was watching Disney's Fantasia a couple of weeks ago, and it is a wonderful, sunning work of art. The digital stuff looks cool but somehow it feels cheap, like it is not that much of an achievement.

Anyway, away with the gloomy stuff. I saw you added some of my stuff to favs and I really liked your art. There is something very fresh there, that "fall with me" piece is lovely, and I love your winged character in forbiden things, the golds and blues in Lonely Day in a Blue Dress, there are some nice concepts there that are usually not explored these days, with all the comic book and manga influences.

How did you guess? yeah, I'm actually a recently graduated archaeology student, and mesoamerica kind of became a focus of mine. I'm supposed to be doing some digging in Belize next summer. I went to school for art, and ended up switching, but I'm so surprised at how little artwork there is on here with a central american focus. But you have some great stuff.
