where/how did you learn how to use 3dsmax? like i said before, i kind of suck at 3dsmax but really want to learn how to use it.

Back in the day of DOS and windows 3.11, I started to learn using Autocad. Later I transfered to a more visual program called Protocad. I don't exactly remember at which point I got my first 3D studio, but I remember it was a DOS program and not yet called 3D studio Max. Just 3d studio. And from there, I've been going thru different versions of 3dsmax up to version 6 Which I love the most. I've learned it mostly by myself through years of trial and error. And only a few years ago I started to dig through the millions of tutorials lying around the web to find new and exciting ways to do things and to learn that I still have much to learn :) (Smile) - :)
So what I'm saying is that there's no easy/quick way to learn, but now that internet exists, finding help and tutorials has become much easier.

Thanks! Ever since i got 3dsmax i have been trying to teach myself how to use it, but always seemed to run into some kind of trouble, so thanks for informing me. (I really should have thought of internet tutorials)

Hei! Voisitko sinä ehdottaa mulle jotain helppoa ohjelmaa jolla mä voisin tehdä "jotain" taidetta, koska mul pitäis joskus olla jotain mun galleriassakin myös, kun on liian paljon "Fave" galleriassa juttuja! Jos tulee mieleen jotain, niin sano ihmeessä. Nähdään. :) (Smile)

Helppoja ohjelmia.. hmm. Pistit aika pahan.
Googlettamalla "freeware 2d (tai 3d) software" löytyy ilmaisia ohjelmia joissa on yleensä aika simppelit käyttöliittymät ja jotka on helppo oppia. Esim Terragen ohjelman demoversiolla saa tehtyä vaivattomasti aika nättejä maisemia. Muistaakseni rajoituksena oli lopullisen kuvan koko. Poserin Shareware versiolla taas tulee hyviä ihmishahmoja ihan vaikka satunnaisesti nappeja painelemalla, ja hahmot on helppo väännellä taiteellisiin poseerauksiin. En muista mitkä olivat rajoitukset tässä. Apophysis (Freeware) ohjelmalla taas syntyy fractaaleja jollain tapaa scriptejä muokkaamalla. (En ole itse ikinä kokeillut.) Onnea etsintään. Tartu vain rohkeasti oudomman kuuloisiinkin ohjelmiin niin kyllä sieltä joku juuri sinulle sopiva löytyy. :) (Smile)

Ai niin yks juttu viel. JOTKUT videot ei varmaan näy koska monissa eri linkeissä (Kun valkkaat sarjan) on joskus erilainen "Player" jos ne ei näy niin mene tähän osoitteeseen [link] ja laita Prison Break jne. jos haluat katsoa muut jaksot. Huomasin tämän eilen niin piti kertoa se heti kun mahdollista.
