Just so you know, you can make another account using your same email address and information, even before this one gets taken care of.
Just log out, and click the "become a deviant" and fill out the info for a new account, if you haven't yet.

Unfortunately, you cannot delete your account by yourself.
What you can do, though, is go to the "FAQ" section of the right-side menu and try to send a note to the HelpDesk, and they might be able to ban the account or possibly remove it for you given the circumstances.
I hope you have a positive experience on your new account, as I'm sure this was a really bad introduction to the website!

You mean how do you get rid of this account? I have an old account too. They aren't deleting accounts right now, it just won't let you. What I did was take everything off, hide the comments, and log off.
