i love what happened w yuuri, it was terribly realistic. his fighting spirit in his skate sequence  - that look he shot victor!!!!! that's the look of utter determination. but still every athlete goes into a competition with their own resolve for finding gold. only one makes it. and it's obviously the fall before the climax, and it's got me pumped for the finale more than ever (૭ ఠ༬ఠ)૭

or the trope where u get utterly ridiculous embellishments like omg, he just invented a special flying kick move now he's raking in all the points and then there's like an inexplicable waterfall in the background as a metaphor for the move (prince of tennis im lookig at u) or omg, he jusgt got the newest brand of legendary skates and then everything hinges on the skates and then ppl naturally go sabotagin ea other's skates
