I'm not sure yet. Some people say it was Templars that found him, others say Beeca and Shaun handed him over to Assassin HQ because he appears to be dangerous now but they still need him. Others say its Altair and Ezio, still alive because of their prolonged exposure to the Apple (voices having changed from living so long, possibly in different places.) Guess we'll just have to wait and see in AC3, huh?

Whole new Assassin in the Animus is what I heard. As in, Desmond wouldn't be synching up with Ezio or Altair, but someone new. I also heard that there's going to be a lot more Desmond in this one.
