i know not that exciting but hey just part of life.
one good thing is defianetly since the old days of the yahoo groupings, i feel i've matured a bit. granted, i still have my moments. XD
but, i feel ALOT better now. ^_^ i admit back then i was going through alot of crap, and was in a bad state of depression n stuffs.

Yay, congrats on graduating~ And there's nothing wrong with maturing a bit. I think that's certainly a pluss. Hehe!
I suffer from depression once in a while, but its not often so I don't worry too much about it... I'm working now though, so I think stress is one of the main causes of it. Oh well, It pays and that's good enough!

XD
i have the powerrrr!!!!! lol
indeed! it is a plus to gain a lil bit of maturity.
though it takes time and possibly commitment to it. *least in my book it does*
one other big factor to the growing and maturing of my life was well, this varies for everyone and everyone reacts differently to it. but i now believe in god or at least a higher form.
i wont go much into it here, cuz i believe that sorta thing like i said varies for everyone. but, its one of the things that keeps me going, its something that makes me happy.
believe me tho, i am not one of those types now that insists on forcing my belief down peoples throats. i had that happen to me when i was younger, it sux. ._.
choosing to believe in god or a higher power is once again apersonal choice you must make on ones own.
^^'sorry but i had to bring that up. it saddens me when i tell some1 what i now believe in, that they assume i am ignorant and will do that. >:

Depends though... men do mature slower than woman (or so the doc's say... somehow I doubt woman mature at all sometimes and men. )
Hmm I believe everyone has the right to believe what they want too. I personally don't believe in any gods or goddess' but I do enjoy writing about them and stuff... I believe more so in other life in the univerce than in god; but not those little green men from marz, proper life forms like idk... bacteria
And no worries, you can believe what you want too.

bhaney2007 In reply to Yukiro-Fayt [2009-01-26 22:10:25 +0000 UTC]
honestly, its hard for me to believe those sorta docs.
i think it just depends on the person him/herself, and i'm sure there are other factors.
its alot of things
Indeed tho on the believing in what you wish.
And thanks for the no worries comment.^^
i wanted to make it clear despite my newfound belief, i still respect others choices.
The whole life beyond our earth thing, that is something that tends to conflict with what i believe a bit. and i'm still trying to figure out.
I've been told from the senior members of the church that i go to that the earth was created in one weeks time.
That, i kinda think is farfetched.. at least through a humans eyes.
My theory, our earth has been around for millions of years, BUT within the time span of say a higher power, its relativly shorter. hence, this.
But as far as sentient life is concerned, there's got to be something out in the cosmos.
Whether simple bacteria, or a race far surperior to us. Or something in between. Something.
ehh, did it again. A loong post.^^'

Well, when they say mature... I think they mean the whole; body forming thing... like breasts, periods... er... manly things... and not the maturity of their actions... though most woman /can/ be more mature than men... but as you said, it does depend on the person, how they grew up and everything else too.
I'm more of a science person myself, I love documentories on almost anything... how the univerce was made, how our planet grew... plant and animal life... even space documentories. I'm not smart (but not dumb lol) by any means... they just interest me. I guess to me, who's more logical they make more sense than what you hear in religion.
That's not to say some religious believes don't interest me, there are some which are very fun to read or learn about. Depending on the culture... like the greeks; those gods are fun to learn about.
As for this 'created in one week thing' your logic's more logical. That I could believe more.
I'm sure a life time to us would be just a day or two in the eyes of any immortal...
Mind you, sometimes I laugh at my own ideas... this one day, me and a friend were talking of alians and... I mentioned; "What if our 'god' is just one alian who desided to experiment on this planet and made us by mistake? And now he's forgotten all about us... and then BOOM! He'll come back and eat us all!!!!" ...It was a random moment.
And I do long posts too sometimes.

oh then yes, men mature later than women on that part.
Some documentries get me interested, some just plain put me to sleep.
The logic bit, sometimes the stories heard from "religion" are not even meant to be logical, but more of a story, or a form of motivation.
Unfortunatly, i cant really express my theory with some members of my church.. they're the stereo-typed hardcore religious kind. The follow it by the book word for word. I try to avoid that road..
lol we wont be saved, we'll be eaten. XD i wonder what flavor the earth would be?

Some are boring to watch; agreed. Especially if you've seen them more than once.
Ek, some hardcore religious people are... well, a bit TOO pushy for me. I don't like other peoples ideas shoved down my throat and then get all pissy when /I/ give my own ideas... if people can't understand other people have different views to you and get offended if they do have different ideas, then don't say anything at all if you ask me.
Like the whole same-sex marrage/love thing. I'm straight but I'm completely for same-sex marrage, yet I know a lot of religious people aren't... but if they give their ideas of it... and then you give yours... they eat your face about it and then you're like... "Wut?!"
See... I think loved should be shared, no matter what race or sex you or your partner is. Love is love and that's final. I don't believe love could or ever should be or have been a sin. Love shouldn't be restricted.
Yet some people are all; "It's a sin! A sin!!!!" And they don't care to listen and will just throw, "It's a sin in the bible so gtfo" in your face... which is probably why I haven't stayed in contact with a few old group members... I couldn't stand their pushyness and closed-mindedness any more... and it hurt my feelings that *I* was the bad guy, just for supporting love.
Er... anyways, sorry for the long post.. (like you can complain )
Oh, one last thing... Earth tastes like chocolate!

oh no worries, dawn. its all good. =]
like i had said before, i may now believe in god and attend church n stuff. but not all things i can agree with them. And actually, i'm probably not the only one who thinks this either. i think its a new wave of thinking.
In today's world, slavery has been abolished, and women now have more rights. *well, unforunatly for the most part in the western world..*
Those two things were big in the older part of the book. Which, from a historical stand point was decades ago in history.
What i'm trying to get is, the whole same-sex marriage thing is also brought up at times. Indeed, being claimed as a "sin" and that it is a sinful motive.
But i think a good chunk of the so called "religious people" are realizing that if those first two things have changed over the years, then why cant this?
I really hope i am making some sort of sense. I'm trying my hardest to break down some barriers between two sides normally at conflict..
Now, indeed as well there are the radical hardcore in your face types still around...and from what i've heard from the youth minister of my church*who is like a brother to me now*
Those people..are being hypocrites! Pure hypocrites!
Here's why: In the bible, cant remember where its said but i know its a big, big statement.
Those who believe in God and claim to be Christian are told to love, and be supporting of those who do not believe the same ideologies. NOT BASH THEM AND CLAIM THEY ARE SINFUL HEATHENS.
Its pure arrogance and hypocracy...and it pisses me off!! >.<
I really could longer about it, but i should stop. Realizing i just vented out a whole bunch of steam..^^'
I'll say this..if i ever begin to do that to you Dawn, please i mean PLEASE let me know! I dont want to become one of those kind of people that i described above..]=

I will get around to replying to every comment...
I do hope it changes one day in the future. Over here its more accepted, but I still do not think they've agreed on marrage for same-sex couples. We have gay clubs and pubs though; but even straight people go to them, it just feels people over here (or at least most of us) are more accepting of it.
And yes you're making sense.
Venting out steam is good for you now and then though, and thanks for that, it makes me feel better knowing that at least some of my old friends are more open minded about such things, even if they're straight and stuff. I mean I personally am straight, but I find nothing wrong with girl on girl couples, as long as it is love... couldn't do it myself but that doesn't mean I'll get pissy at people who do, do it.
And do not worry, I am sure you won't. You haven't yet after all!

Good luck with your tests then! And with finding work and everything too~ Though they should understand that its not your fault; if the economicy (can't spell for jack...) is down then people won't hire more staff as they're tight on money... we're having the same problem. Yes I'm sure they're struggling and in need of a bit more money and having you become more responsible and all... but its always hard this time of year.
