Hello!

ProjectComment has existed for more than six years to help support artists like you, so welcome to our group! As a group, we focus on community and reciprocity, a community that cannot thrive without people giving comments as well as getting them.

If you would like to get or give comments, our projects are listed here .

Check out how to submit to our gallery (you must comment on two pieces before submitting), but make sure you read the rules first - we don't have many!

Hi, and welcome to   theWrittenRevolution !
There are lots of things you can get involved in:

we post monthly writing prompts (that include prizes, and a chat event during the month to help people with their pieces),

publishing opportunities from other sites (whenever we come across one!),

we have a monthly feature that includes a deserving member, two of the best critiques we've seen during the month, and two helpful writing resources,

a monthly affiliates feature of two Literature groups,

and a biweekly-ish article in which one of our admins gives an in-depth critique to one of our members' work that hasn't received much feedback.

We'll soon be reviving our chatroom with weekly activities, so stay tuned for that too.

We also have Facebook and Twitter accounts. On our profile page you will find links to the latest of all the activities I listed up here and to our social networks that will help you keep updated, so feel free to look around and ask if you have any questions, we're here to help!

Welcome to the revolution.

No one commented on your writing (yet), but I want to say that they are really good. I especially like "Those Three Rascals". With limited amount of words you manage to paint scenes that feel strangely comfy. I'm no good at putting it into words , but it's something of a warm, nostalgiac feeling with the way you describe characters that you get to know them as if they are some old friends (opposed to some writing styles that take a colder approach following the actions of characters like a camera).

Thank you so much! That made my day.

I admire your drawing style - Frank Jaeger is one of my personal favorites in your gallery. The expression in his face invokes a certain, indescribable feeling - I, too am no good with putting things into words.

You're welcome! Thank you for your compliments as well! Back then I used to draw Frank a lot. He is a character from a melodramatic, military videogame series called "Metal Gear Solid" that takes it own story way too seriously (still a guilty pleasure). I didn't have any particular expression in mind, but since there is a lot of angst surrounding said character's story, I guess it may be something that has to do with somberness, dunno. I like how you call the feeling indescribable, teehee, it almost sounds like the famous Mona Lisa where experts are still undecided whether she smiling or not. To be honest I don't really think of an emotion while I am doodling a character's face, to me it is more of an exercise to put down the personality of a character through their facial features.

Ah, I see.

Personally, I feel like Mona Lisa is just bad with smiles. I mean, she's trying.

I understand.
