Not at all. All John ever talked about anymore was Angelica.. Angelica, Angelica, Angelica. He couldn't listen to the name anymore without feeling his heart break into a million pieces. On the night of the wedding party, John had fooled around with Angelica. This was a problem for Lafayette, because he had feelings for his best friend. He.. could even say he loved him, but he never told John of his feelings. He didn't want to ruin their friendship if he didn't like him too. He heard the male call for him outside and sighed, turning over on his side.

&&. ( it's SHOWTIME! ) there's a series called oyasumi (goodnight) punpun that i really love, & i have an acc for it @/teethgap
basically it's about a boy liking a girl & when he finally gets with the girl he's always liked he treats her like shit & assumes she's a slut but she really was a virgin & gave it up to him. they promised to run away together when they were younger, aiko says she'll kill punpun if he lies to her, & punpun stood her up. even as a child, aiko was getting abused & beaten. as adults, punpun kills her abusive stepmother who beats her violently & they run away together. when aiko's conscience catches up to her & she wants to go to the police & she freaks out, punpun hits her & knocks out her front tooth, making her a mirror image of how she looked when she was a child. it symbolizes their reverting mentalities. aiko takes the blame for the murder & a manhunt begins for her & she wants to turn herself in so that punpun doesn't have to take the blame. they keep running, aiko falls ill. all the shit she's been through in life just piles up. . . she was so happy to finally run with the love of her life, & he treats her like shit. everything is bad, punpun actually tries to kill her & kill himself too but she begs him not to, & just. . . it's a really toxic rship. she says if he lives on, a time will come when he's ' truly happy to be alive '.

finally, at her wits end, she makes punpun promise to remember her every tanabata before they sleep on some stranger's porch & when punpun wakes up, aiko has hung herself, taking the truth to her grave with her, & letting punpun off the hook so that he can blame someone who's already dead. & he just. . . moves on. & it gets to the point where when he dreams about her, he's like 'is that even what you really looked like? i'm sorry, aiko. goodbye " & she finally fades away. punpun's life goes on as normal, & seemingly even gets better. it isn't fair, because i fucking love aiko. she deserved better.
