I love photography, but I haven't done anything since my Junior year of high school since I lack my own camera and we still used black-and-white film SLR's. (I'm paying off a few things first and then I've got a cannon on my wish-list, but until then I'm pretty devoid of photography. D= ) Poetry is not so much--I love reading it and listening to it, but when it comes to writing it I just don't feel that urge to often.

B&W slrs sound really fun to use! I bet you get a lot of results that are very unique. But yes, when you get a digital, it will be a fun experience learning all the buttons and what you can do with end results.

Ah, you are a poetic listener. I probably do the opposite. It just comes to me naturally... I think in poetry, a lot, actually. But I'm very hesitant to read a lot of it here on DA because of it's well... I guess lack of "goodness" if such a thing exists for writing. But as an English major and a writer for life, it's really hard not to be a little bit critical of the angsty poems going around online.
