sup man thanks for putting me on your friends list and watching me again. i'll put you on mine too when i upload my stuff coz i'm busy trying to finish this first batch off. but i'll tell you a secret... i'm bombing da with 30 drawings on my first upload lol

and for watching me on my old account, along with the others... you guys will get to see the rough sketches of those finished drawings that i plan on uploading. i was gonna upload them last week but it was the holidays so had to spend time with friends, but they'll be up in about 2 weeks or less from now.

about your drawings... they're not bad at all but i can tell that you were having the same problem as i was... to be honest with you and i hope that it helps, some of your drawings seem to be stiff. you need to loosen them up! besides that though, i can see a good pace of improvement, i used to draw like that too but i kept on practicing. so if you're serious about this, then just keep on practicing like there's no friggin tomorrow! that's an advice from a friend heh

you got most of my info in the forum; however, its just shading primarily.

since its a photo, there was probably very little to shade.

a good technique is to use an eraser and work backwards cleaning up the photo.

once done with the cleaning, draw in pencil the gradients for the shading; yet, make them slightly smaller than the actual area that needs to be shaded.

once the previous step is done, rub your finger over the area, very lightysmudging and draging the gradient the appropriate distance required.

It takes a little time to get this method down; however, it is very useful.
