Nice weapons.
All the pieces should flow somewhat into each other to ensure strength and  stability. also think in terms of what the blade is for. Swords tend to have a 1:3 handle to blade ratio. So the blade is around triple the length of the handle. Also, handles should be chunky enough to be held comfortably and not perfectly rounded on a slashing blade. It should tend toward flatter aspects allowing the wielder to 'feel ' the edge placement as not to cut themselves using it. One handed blades aren't that long usually but are light, more balanced toward the guard for parrying. Others like a Kerambit are meant for chopping and are tip heavy with alot of metal.

Also, if something requires a skill to not get the user hacked into or to hold parts in levitation, state it early on or somehow show it.
really i could go on for years but look at the designs already made IRL. they will blow your mind especially true Whip Swords.
