Vi vet ikke om du har merket det, men det er overraskende mange nordmenn på dA. Det er også en klubb, ~norge , men den er inaktiv. Så vi bestemte oss for å lage en ny norsk gruppe, for å samle alle nordmenn, og for å vise verden at nordmenn også kan lage ting.

Hmm... interesting - about these tv-fractals. After a bit of thinking, it's quite possible. Such cam-tv loop has a basic properties needed to "compute" fractals: recurrency and sets of parameters that allow for 'decreasing' multiplication. And thanks to amplification, there's also some "exit" value... Maybe I'll try this some day (;

yea I noticed that myself that it brakes up the stripes.. but the coat is just hanging there in the midle.. I can't change the photo.. what I can do is sometime make a new photo and do it again.. but I think it goes about the meaning of them need there to be stripes, is clothing necery for life for the world..? the questions and the stripes..
It is all the same

Thank you for your comment. I know that it may look like smoke, but the shapes that milk develops until it reachs the bottom of the glass are awesome. That is why I called it 'a dream'. (I used a tiny drop of cool milk in warm water).
Anyway, I know that the image can improved with a better shot/light/camera/photographer.

Hey, thanks for commenting on my Royal Yacht Club shot. Yes, I scanned the slide and I don't think that I have figured out my scanner well enough to get really good results from something as small as a slide.

I have spent a lot of time recently learning about photo correction in photoshop and maybe I'll have another go at it with this shot.

I noticed that you have a panorama shot of Vancouver in your favorites as well as your comment on my Van shot, have you been here or is it just coincidence?

Great shot of the orange lichen BTW. I love macro shots with saturated colour.

I does rain an awful lot around Vancouver, every time I visit I usually see rain. That's why they have the huge trees and "rainforest" I guess! The canyon at Capilano there is quite deep too, and tends to catch all of the fog and mist, even if it has burned off nearby.

It's from Wroclaw. I've been trying to use color mask feature of Corel Photo-Paint, but had better luck with "magic wand" masking and manually clicking interesting areas (with lots of Undoing). To darken reds in shadow I had to manually remove bright parts from the selection, then apply another effect.

BTW, very nice little gallery you have. I hope it will grow up...
