I have a Canon 40D and I shoot mostly in manual mode. I know if you transfer things over some of the editing programs can distort the image when you upload it. If I'm not selling the photos I usually resize the images to 5 x 7.5" That tends to keep them fairly clear. I also try not to add a bunch of layers in photoshop. If I plan on putting something up for sale I usually upload at 16x24". Hope that helped.
