Hey I got your note I will give you an awesome tip here to start you off.
When you see something that you think may make an interesting photograph, something that stands out from anything around you. Maybe something beautiful or strange or both. Think to yourself what is so beautiful, what grabs my attention, and try your best to isolate this beauty in your camera. Now sometimes people make the mistake of isolating too much and the complimentary beauty of what is around the subject is lost and the picture has less of an impact.

If you can, it is allmost always better to get closer with the camera than it is to use the zoom.
The more pictures that you take the more beautiful and interesting the world will become
