It's a privilege to he here. Amongst fellow artists. Where barrier is just a word. And the color of your skin, the twang of your accent, your unique cultural mannerism is diminished, reduced to only the distinct voice and mobility of your art. Like being in the godhead of the qabbalah, all is one, and all is free. And war and poverty and hate, just a subject for a painting, a story, a photo, in so we might be able to, as ONE race, ONE culture, ONE world, address it as such: A problem which involves everyone. Can Art make things better? I don't distinguish any other singular purpose for it but.
A little about me: I have been drawing since early childhood, bex like most artists, I was in a situation where I did not have many friends. And the pencil and the pad seemed to call out to me, pick me up, penetrate me, respectively. Fast forward 29 years laters though I have somewhat abandoned those two seminal bestfriends of mine. I've now replaced them with the keyboard and monitor, their contemporary versions. I now write mostly. So I might have more stories here than pixs. Still, I hope you enjoy and find the art you are looking for, bex, it is definitely looking for you.
