Hello there! I am good! How 2016 have been treating you so far?hehehe
I haven't had time to draw anymore. I am really sad for that because I think I really got worse! I was doing my master thesis, but thank God now I finished. I hope to start drawing again soon.
And how are you? Working a lot? I don´t see much of you here on DA now, in fact I don´t see much of anybody! I think everybody migrated to tumblr!

Congratulations on your Master's Thesis! Do you know what you're going to do now that you're done?
I'm in the same boat when it comes to drawing -most of my time has been spent on graphic and web design work. I went back to Japan last year, and I had a LOT of fun!!! I also think that's when I really started to back off DA. To be honest, the site just doesn't hold the same appeal to me anymore, and I don't want the work I need to show to potential employers to get stolen -not when the DA staff doesn't seem to do much about theft these days. It's the same reason I don't post my writing anymore.
I'm about to start my final term in college, and I'm hoping to go into web design afterward. I really like doing UI/UX work and putting everything together like a puzzle, and apparently I can work for 6 hours straight without noticing

It is so good that you found something that you like! My best wishes for you in your final term! You will rock it! 
You are so luck going to Japan for a second time!!! I really don't know what to do. Maybe find a job or try the doctoral degree. The only thing I really know is that I need to earn money. I can't depend on my parents anymore, I am too old. It make me feel really bad. Maybe I will try the scholarship for Japan this year again. But I don't have high hopes...
Let's see what my future awaits...
I really think that DA needs to have a major change, otherwise it will lose everyone... I think it is getting really visually crowded, too much information and the art is lost. It needs a design and functions makeover. I hardly come here now, and I can not stay too much, it gives me headaches!
I will try to do more things in 2016! Especially drawing more!

Hey! Sorry it's been so long -it's been crazy on the school/job front. I'm working at a coffee shop now while I take my last class to graduate.
DA does really need a change. It's too many fake accounts or thievery accounts and just some plain obnoxious people. I feel like the level of originality is sinking too. Cosplay seems so oversexified and photography in general has become near-pornographic. Honestly, if it weren't for talking to you and the ease of looking at my favorite artists who have stuck around, I probably would have left by now.
How are you doing? Any progress on the job/doctoral degree decision?

Hello there!
It has been such a long time! I practically give up on DA!!! The site does not evolve!! Tumblr is going down also. The place that I go to see art now is Instagram. Yeah! That is true, women are really objectified on cosplay! Once I was looking for the top ranked cosplayers and the lists on the internet seems to be about how sexy and not how competent. when women are not objectified on cosplay there are so much photoshop that I am not sure if the post is about the cosplay or the photoshop ability.
I am working in a clothes store. It is terrible and really boring. But I am making money to pay my bills and stay here and saving some. Wish I was saving to the phd, but first I want to travel with my sister, so I am saving for Disney!
I am going to try some scholarships next year.
How is the work in the coffee shop? It is to busy? Do you serve or also make food? And how is your class?

Hi Again!
I feel like adulthood is an endless apology for not replying for ages. I can't believe it's been a year-and-a-half. I finally quit my job at Starbucks and am going to work at a a big medical institution in my city. Right now it's still customer service work, but they have a graphic design department so once I'm done with my graduate certificate I'm hoping to transfer there.
I don't know if you saw my journal, but I'm finally going to transition away from DA. There are still artists I like to see stuff from here, but overall most of my activity is over on tumblr -though I do finally have an instagram too (my classmate made me). My tumblr name is the same as this one (bowtechie) if you want to keep in touch -I'm much better at communicating there than I am here.
I hope all is well on your end.Did you and your sister make it to Disney? More importantly, did you have fun?????
