Thanks. Most of the pictures I've posted here are quick snaps taken on my phone - I just capture what I see, and I don't consider myself to be a photographer as such, I'm think of myself as a writer. I use the pictures I take to help me when I'm writing to remind me of details in scenes, but I do like the pictures I take (and I'm glad you do too), so I think they're worth sharing.

I've not published any of my writing here for a while because I've been working on getting a novel published. I'm rather excited about that, and I'll certainly be posting news about it here as soon as I have more information.

You don't get to make a public testimony all that often. I remember making mine a couple of years ago (the one I transcribed to you in a letter last year). At the time I didn't really realize what I was saying... it's only when I look back at it that I see how powerful it was. I suspect the same for you. It's part of your life's story, and to you, it's just what happened. To everyone else, it's fascinating and a wonder that you've come though all that.

I still wouldn't mind having a boring testimony.  I might make it sound simple and glamorous, but the fact of the matter is that it really sucked at the time.

I know... I've been holding your hand (figuratively) for the last 6 months. I know what you've been going through, and how much it hurt. I saw you struggling during Skype calls - almost unbearable for me to watch sometimes. You are not a weak person... maybe a little shy to admit it, but you are awesome. And I want you to carry on being awesome.
