i stumbled across your deviantart searching "hattingh".
i read one of your poems and the artist statement said you had a teacher "mrs. hattingh"
my mother is a teacher here in australia aswell.

Duelmasters? It sounds so... "Pikachu! I chose YOU!" -ish. What's it about?

its practically a rip-off of all kiddies anime(pokemon, beyblades...etc) but mainly yu-gi-oh!
They play a card game with real monsters from the "creature world". but its not serious at all, in fact they rip themselves off("hey, remember last episode when i we met that evil duelist? i think he stole my lunch!")
it's frikking hilarious and entertaining cuz there's also lots of jokes about brad pitt and jennifer lopez and everything. its on SABC 2 @ 16:30 weekdays. It's dubbed over for western distribution but i think they didnt like the original script so they added a few things..
memorable scene from last episode:
Henchman: Sir! Its the prisoners, they've escaped and...
Boss: Well? what is it? Out with it!
Henchman: It's the coffee sir! The coffee's an instant mix!
Boss: You incompetent fool!!
