Just a note to say I love the melrose base 
I am thinking of offering dolls as resources on my site. I'd like to use the melrose base (with face/skin edits perhaps). The tricky thing is that even though I'd be giving a link credit to your dA, I find it hard to come up with a sure-fire way to have people who use the doll as a resource give credit to both the basemaker and the doller (in this case you and me). My terms would state to place a working link to my site as credit, and suggest to give credit to the basemaker with a link as well. But just as a suggestion. I'd also put a 'tag' with my url on the resource-doll.
Would you object to such a thing? Because in my heart I'd love to make people link to you as well for using a doll I made on your base for other graphics, but I don't think that would be workable (I'd be lucky if they'd give a link credit back to my site anyway).
Be honest. I'd still make (un-usable) dolls on the melrose base

dolling to me really is a hobby so I'm not horribly strict on linking; i think if they were to link it to your site and then people were to get my link from your site -- i'd still be totally fine and alright with it
I put my bases out there for people to use, and I'm not horribly anal about credit just because uhh... I'm a really chill person in general heh. So go ahead and use the bases, be sure to provide a link from your page and I'm totally fine with it
One thing though, I hope it's a free resource, if it was paid then we would need to discuss the credit terms a little more

It's definitely free. It's for something that a doller called Caelest started, to reach out to the community of so-called 'blinkiemakers' and other graphics makers. Many dolls are used for that, sometimes without any link back to anyone of the original dollers at all. By bridging the two communities and offering dolls specifically and/or exclusively for that community the hope is that blinkiemakers will respect the dollers enough to always link back.
But you see how demanding to link back to dollers and basemakers and face-editmakers... might be a bit too much to ask.
I'll make sure you are linked back from my site where I offer the dolls and be very clear about how to give credit. I'll let you know when it is up
