Hm, it actually looks like a stamp is supposed to look: the borders look transparent, but the dA colors show because that's what is behind it on the website.



I'm not sure if that was of any help to you, but maybe if you have something certain in mind, maybe you can link me an example and I can try to help as best as possible?

I'm really unversed in GIMP, though. I'm a Photoshop whore. But, I might be able to pull some strings for help or something.

I did it in paint, if you look at my gallery you can see that it isn't transparent. It looks like it though because I totally cheated the system.

Well, if you can open up the file in GIMP, maybe you could erase the areas you want transparent? I dunno. I'm sorry I'm a bit lost here.

So am I, when I erase them they just go white.
I somehow got it right once, but it won't work anymore. God I feel like such a woman right now

Photoshop Elements comes for around $60 last I checked. It's a little bare-bones, but has the essential Photoshop features. If you're a student at high school/college, they have hefty student discounts for the real deal at different websites provided you have a valid Student ID.



Hm. Let me poke around and see if there are any relevant tutorials to see if it may help us figure out how to fix the borders/transparency.
